Controls are horrid.
The AI is a joke. A harder AI would be awesome but they were too lazy to program a decent AI and just make the opposing goalie a brick wall and your goalie made of wet toilet paper instead of a skilled opposing team. Every shot they take goes in and you could shoot 100 times on 1 timers (if you can actually get the controls to respond in time) and the goalie just stops it all.
Game had the chance to be great but laziness and poor responsive controls ruin this. Slow the game speed down a bit, make the controls better and develop a smarter AI not just a cheating one and I might consider playing again.
This is an AWESOME game. That said, it has one crippling flaw; it is very implausible to switch players on defense. That means you can only check or chase a runaway puck with one player instead of 3. Im not going to ask the developers to change the controls; i know its too late for that and i know there is next to no chance of them reading this. Appropriatey, i give this game 3 stars, whereas it would recieve 5 hadnt it this flaw. With that in mind, i recommend one buy this game. This flawed, 3 starred game is in the top 5% of my library in terms of addictiveness, engrossingness, and replayability.
After I beat the tournament I did the final tournament again and I chose the cavemen and it was my first game. In the standings it said instead of the big C for the logo it was a question mark as the logo. So when they were skating around before it started,the team was white. IDK y this happened but afterwards the screen went black and then it just went back to my app page.I tried it again and it said loading and did the same thing again. So UPDATE so I'll be able to play this awesome game again.I would've rated it 5 stars if didn't happen.

As a huge hockey fan, I was glad that I found at least one app that tries to emulate the sport. I am quite pleased at the effort put into this game. It looks good and exciting, owing to e very fast pace. The only complaints that have are about the gameplay.
Often, I find that my view is obstructed because I have to control my players my pointing to the actual location on the ice. In addition, the control are sometimes unresponsive. It is pretty frustrating than having a wide open net to shoot at but passing instead. I would also like to have more control of the player with the puck - he moves right away to designated positions after receiving the puck. (I might just be spoiled by EA's NHL series) I think that this game could go far with some fine-tuning!
I'd put in some things. Like season mode and a few more teams and arenas. Maybe the teams could have a state that they could play in with their own arena. You should also give us the creativity to be able to create our own team, player and arena. Still all of the things are fine.I recommend this.
Yea for those with the caveman glitch its because you dont have any of the other packs, try getting the neutrons for free and then you face them all the time...so far though i absolutely love this game only once and a while it has a second freeze but i would love to see this game take it to the top and make more teams, be able to have a costume team and name your players, and they should make some type of career mode that would be awesome...overall loving it over all the other game aps out there!keep it up!
Great design on this game. Love how the Ninjas logo is a replica of the Buffalo Sabres 3rd jersey from a few years ago. Love the Philadelphia Flyers-style team as well, naming them the the Cavemen is the perfect fit! The Calgary Flames team is also cool. I bet the killer Bee's are supposed to be the Boston Bruins. Are the Commandos or the Cops supposed to represent the New York Rangers? And the flamingos are supposed to be the Pittsburgh Penguins? I cant think of who the Skulls are supposed to represent...the Ducks maybe??? Super fun game, addicting! ADD MORE TEAMS!!!!! LET'S GO NINJAS!!!!!
I liked the game. It had pretty simple controls that you could easily learn after doing the training. I only had a couple of small problems, which kept it from a 5 star(which in my mind is a perfect game). It was a bit slow in the games, and also it sometimes passed where I didn't want it to. Would've given it a 4 1/2 stars if i could've
The game is really fun if you are looking for something involving hockey. Still fun if you aren't even a hockey fan like myself. Like it but it needs some work.
Pros
Good game overall. Great challenging A.I.. 99 cents! Can't complain for what you get.
Cons
The game will lag and when it does, it spins you into thinking it didn't pick up for move from your finger. For example, instead of initially passing once, you might end up passing twice. Also, try to make it so you can switch players more quickly, in addition to catching a pass on the run without stopping. Other than that, it is a great game. Running it on an iPhone 3G is kind of slow but works and is still fun. Computer players are super fast and your computer teammates are slow overall.
The game is really fun but there isn't much depth. The controls and graphics are great and the teams, stadiums, and tournaments are fine too.
The problem is there isn't much past that, I'm not looking for anything huge. Maybe some achievements, or a store that you can customize a character or something. Maybe online game play, just something that would add another element to the game.
But overall it is a solid game, I'd recommend it.
