  • Needs a lot of work!!!

I downloaded this app for my daughter and she loves it. I didn't really review much of it because I don't know Spanish, so who was I to judge. I have recently started taking Spanish class, so I decided to use the app. Well, I did notice the G had a dog and said gato(cat) but overlooked it, until today. I needed the correct pronunciation of W.... And it's not even in the app!!

Really need to edit and/or correct the app.

  • Incorrect translation

At first I thought this was a pretty good app to get my little one to learn Spanish ,then I saw the mistakes... I speak Spanish so thankfully I did not let my daughter continue using the app. They have a hair brush identified as a tooth brush... Will check back if corrections have been made... Will only buy if its fixed...

  • Totally agree with other reviews

Beautiful photos! BUT they are not accurate like the happy brown dog described as Gato in G. LOL!!
Sorry I would not pay for this app because-- accent is weird, and swipe feature is not available. The "next" button is too tiny and irritatingly placed next to the adds on bottom where it is all too often to get thrown out of the app into the App Store. Not child friendly

  • My toddler loves it but accent is bad

I had a similar app in English that my 18 month old loves. Since I also want him to learn Spanish (I am Bolivian married to an American) I downloaded this app in Spanish. He likes it but couldn't they have used someone that has a better accent? It is obvious this person is not a native speaker.
  • Needs work!

As others have pointed out the pictures and words don't match. The advertising , yes I realize they pay for it, is way to easy to push, and you get diverted . When you reopen the app. It does not pick up where you left off? Last night was fun, my toddler pushed the add. By mistake, hey , it's an ad for; The Playboy Channel in Spanish! Playboy in Spanish will probably help a teenage boy learn Spanish , but may be lost on toddlers ! Try to work on this a little, and target your adds a little better.

  • Used to be more user friendly

I dock this app since they took away the swipe feature. It is hard for my toddler to use the small next button. She clicks on the ad and exits the app. Aside from that the app is good
  • Overall 5 BUT

G is for Gato meaning cat not dog! There is a picture of dog under the letter G please fix! ALSO ppl! Please consider that Spanish language has many dialects! Wheel can mean llanta in your country but in mine we say rueda as well as cake is pastel or torta or bizcocho in another.
  • Liked older version

It's too bad you removed the swipe feature. The small "next" button to change images is not ideal for my 2 year old. I'm still giving 5 stars because this is the best app of its kind. My suggestions: add 100s of more words (free or paid), bring back the swype feature, and make my 2 year old your spokes baby...seriously he could make a great instructional video

  • Love it

Love this app I have been able to learn tens of new words during few days of vacation on the beach in Mexico
My kids and ply together on the multiple choice option.
  • Awesome! Please make an Amharic version

I love this. My husband and son do it together and are having a blast. I would REALLY love an Amharic version!! So many of my friends are trying to learn and an app like this would really help. :)

I disagree with reviewers who mention naranja and banana. These words are perfectly normal. What I find odd is the use of the word "frutilla" instead of "fresa," and the picture of a katydid with the label "tucura," a word I have never heard and cannot find in any dictionary. Also, please add an accent mark to the word "búho."
    Thanks!
