Rubbish
I am absolutely fed up with not only this glitchy app, but also with the appalling (non existent) customer service.
Today, I opened the app as usual, only to find that I could no longer watch videos on full screen. As soon as press the square in the bottom right hand corner of my iPhone OR iPad in order to watch the video in full screen, a screen pops up in Russian telling me that there were ‘no videos available’.
That’s it. No instructions, no explanations, just that ridiculous notification.
I can still watch videos in the small/preview screen, but I can no longer enjoy watching a video full screen on either my iPad or iPhone.
I attempted to email customer support only to receive an email back telling me that they do not deal with emails and any problems need to be addressed through the app.
To the app I dutifully went, only to be presented with instructions in Russian.
What I did manage to glean was that I needed to get to my profile on the app, but in order to do that I needed to get past the security picture where I had to type the same word/s I was presented with. Again, I dutifully complied only to have another word picture present itself that I was asked to copy. I did this 14 times until I realized that I was obviously not going to get anywhere because that security part was obviously broken 🙄
So, after attempting to uninstall and reinstall the app a few times and then performing a hard/factory reset 3-4 times I am none the wiser and am still unable to watch videos in full screen.
If I had a gas oven I’d be tempted to put my head in it, but having an electric oven only all I’d accomplish is burning my face and singeing my hair.
I wouldn’t recommend this app to my worst enemy, and so if this review helps anyone decide whether or not to download it, I have done my best to give my personal opinion on it.
Now YOU decide whether you want to download this app or not, but know this: if it goes wrong, you won’t be able to contact anyone about it, but if you DO manage to talk to someone, It will be in Russian only!
I need a Valium and/or a very strong drink now! 🤭
PS I will amend this review and edit it to reflect any help I get from customer service, but until that time this review stays!
I received a message via Apple from the developer of the app asking me certain questions on my complaints in this review, however, in order for me to answer these questions I was given 2 alternatives: either update my review (which is what I’m doing now) OR I was taken to the ‘help’ section where the instructions were in Russian! How am I supposed to answer any questions when I don’t understand RUSSIAN?!
This is all going from bad to worse and I am STILL unable to watch videos in full screen with no solution in sight!
There are a significant number of other users that are experiencing this same problem and none of them have received a solution either.
A lot of these users have quit using the app and are trying to watch videos on the actual website, but since that presents its own set of problems, they’re finding a different site entirely to watch videos, etc.
I’d like to fix the problems so that I can resume using the app, but so far the customer support is STILL non existent because it’s so unclear HOW I can access full dialogue with the developer. I’d love to amend this review and speak of how awesome this app is (it used to be until these issues started happening) but so far it’s apparent that there IS no support for NON Russian speaking users.
If the developer reads this amended portion of my existing review, please give me an email address where we can correspond in English so that I can answer your questions AND explain in full the issues I am experiencing.
Do NOT direct me back to the app for customer support because it’s not user friendly for people who don’t speak or understand Russian.
