  • BDC muzzleloader

Downloaded a few years ago for my muzzleloader scope. Installed the slug gun bdc scope and works great on my muzzleloader. I have used the app for every rifle I have with the extensive caliber and ammo combination that will calculate the ballistics. The other apps require manual inputs for velocities and other parameters.

  • Crashes

    Crashes every time
  • Crashes

App crashes trying to select 50 cal rem ammo. Really.
  • Used to be great app

Now its crap and has been past couple years. I pick out scope and bullet manufacture then click in ammo pick ammo and it crashes every time. Im bout to get rid if nikon scopes and move to something else. Mind you i just literally did the latest update, the only reason i tried again was i saw it had an update had i known it was same crap i wouldn’t have wasted my time.

  • Not reliable

This worked great when I first got it. Now when you input the caliber/bullet information it closes the app. This has been happening for the past several weeks. Hope they put out a new patch to fix this. App is useless as it is now.
  • *not a* Very good app (updated)

Update - used for years but now appears that Nikon sabotaged the app when they abandoned the rifle scope market. What a huge disservice to their loyal customers over the years.

I use this app frequently. The data is excellent - very useful at the range and in the field. The interface is a bit clunky. I would like to be able to save specific ammunition selections, or at least be able to search by typing rather than scrolling. I would also like to see a “go back” button for the bullet-only screen.

  • Nikon Crashed the App on purpose!!!

I have used this app for 10 years. I bough only Nikon scope for years cause of this app. Now about 4 months ago they did an update and it has not worked since. I get they don’t want to make and sale rifle scopes anymore but this is just ridiculous!!! A lot of us have gave Nikon a lot of our money over the years and this is how they treat us!!!!

  • Muzzle Velocity Problem

I loved the iPhone version until the last update. It now shows 2800 fps for muzzle velocity regardless of caliber or load. This makes all my downrange drop data off. Correcting this would make it great.
  • Buggy

I own the inline xr 300 mainly because of the spot on ballistic ap. Gave me confidence in my set up having a basic idea of yardage on each power and drop down point. Recently moved my zero from 100 yards to 150 yards and now the ap just crashes during bullet selection process. Just because nikon discontinues production on something doesn’t mean people owning the product don’t still use it. The cost of shooting a black powder isn’t cheap sure can’t afford burning through dozens of loads figuring out my drop downs. Basically have useless 300$ piece of equipment beyond 150 yards attached to my smoke stick now. With drop down points obstructing my view and the scopes ability to be used in low light conditions.

  • Apparently Nikon doesn’t support

Hace a Nikon Monarch 3 4-12x42 BDC. This app used to work well. With subsequent new iPhones app began to crash regularly. Now it’s not crashing, but the ballistic table is total crap. Starting muzzle velocity doesn’t even match what’s listed on the factory ammo you input. Change cartridges and bullet and the ballistic table still doesn’t change. This app it not reliable, tested, and is a complete waste of time now!
