- Added 30 FPS timecode, - Minor fixes and improvements.

2.2.1

February 12, 2021

Improved timecode conversion. Now, when converting from one timecode to another, calculator automatically applies fps conversion rate. For example: to convert 29.97 DF to 23.98 NDF in previous version of the calculator, it was necessary to manually multiply result by 4 and divide by 5 to get correct 23.98 NDF value. In the present version these manual calculations are done automatically. Fixed log view appearance in Dark Mode.

Reviews of TimecodeCalc

  • Terrible

I bought this and immediately tried to convert 1:00:00:00 in 23.98 NDF to 29.97 NDF. The answer should be the same, 1:00:00:00. Instead this app said it was 48:00:00. Total fail.

    Developer Response

Dear user, conversions in my app are based on number of frames and made in two steps: (1) 1:00:00:00 [23.98 NDF] => 86400 frames (2) 86400 frames => 00:48:00:00 [29.97 NDF] So, it works in a similar way as for example here: https://www.cinelexi.com/tc-convert
