Most of the App not available for foreigners
I have lived in China for the past 10 years and have worked with a number of banks. As long as the bank has a good functioning app, I have had no issues. This app seems to think the year is 1999 and no foreigners open bank accounts besides to transfer money. I was required to open a new bank account at a local Bank of China branch. Opening the account was fine, but when I try to use this app, most of the normal mobile banking functions such as balance query do not work in the English version of the app. When I try to use those functions, it asks me to change to the Chinese language setting. Once I do that I need to verify my identity, but only ID from Hong Kong or Macau are recognized. Nothing for a passport holder.Hanyu Xuesheng

Anti-human design with anti-human “encrypted” keyboard. And for some critical services you have to wait till it’s 7am Beijing time. If you want to scan some certificates with this app, congrats because this app’s photo recognition is trash when it’s in the night. Doesn’t matter if you put your documents under lamp light or not coz this app will just refuse to scan.Kejkebrj

I just upgraded to iOS 15.4 and have BOC app 7.0 installed. Now the app doesn’t even open. It crashes immediately.ujn20
Really need to reduce response time
