Better than the website!
I’ve been using the Bimmerpost app to access the content there for a long time, at least 5-6 years (been a Bimmerpost member since 2007), but the developer really knocked it out of the park with the newest version. On top of that, they’re very responsive to bug reports and are on top of getting the bugs fixed super quickly. A++

Exceptional.
The recent update to this app is truly exceptional. When it first came out it had a few rough edges but these were soon resolved. You can see how much work has gone into this app and the developers really care about what they do. It is so far ahead of any other car forum in user experience it’s insane. I wish brands other than BMW had the same level of forum and app as it’s got to the stage now that Porsche owners use this app to discuss their cars as their own forum is so terrible. And that’s a really bad thing as I have zero interest in their collective mid life crises. So maybe this app is actually too good?

Admins
Admins control content to a degree that is bordering on censorship. And then ignore repeated emails/messages to discuss why they ban a member from one particular forum or another. This has gone on for a long time on Bimmerpost and it’s sad that the admins/moderators feel the need to silence those that don’t agree with their viewpoints or hide behind forum rules which are not being violated. Bimmerpost needs a new set of admins to take over the site and bring fresh perspective to the ever evolving bmw car world.

Great update
Love the new modern design, but the private messages seems very janky. One big issue with PMs is if you have a long thread, it’ll easily exceed the 7000 character limit and then you have to hit backspace for minutes since you can only “select all” but you can’t adjust the highlighted text.
Great On-the-Go Access to Fantastic Online Bimmer Commmunity
The BIMMERPOST app is a great way to interact with the online Bimmer community. It offers so much of the online forum functionality packed into a compact mobile smartphone app. It’s just as good of an experience as the full computer web browser version of the forum. In some aspects, such as notifications of replies to threads I’m active on, the smartphone app is even better than the full web version of the forums. The recent update dramatically improves the interaction and UI. There are still some word dark-mode/light-mode glitches to clean up in the redone app, but that’s pretty minor stuff, overall.
UPDATE: I’ve learned that the BIMMERPOST app developer is super-responsive to bug reports. [Pretty much] all the issues I’d experienced in the newly revamped app have been resolved. Issues I reported were quickly handled. I’m upgrading the number of stars from 4 to 5.

Backspace while editing
Please add the ability to hold down the backspace key to delete characters while editing. It’s only possible to backspace one character at a time and it’s really frustrating when you’re trying to delete an entire sentence.
Latest update broke it
Today I hound it had been updated. Was logged out so logged back in. Now it’s lost my forum list. Also very very slow.

Great information source
Very good info from folks much more knowledgeable than me about my car or any BMW. They also have a marketplace where you can list items for sale.
CENSORED CONTENT
I made three or four posts stating my distaste for the new M3/M4 body styling. I was kicked off of the forms, blocked, and four months no response or reason as to why despite multiple messages to the administrators. Eventually the administrators responded and stated that I said negative comments about the styling of the new M3/M4 and I was banned. This is complete censorship.
Jason, can you look into why I am unable to post. I would like permission to do so please. Thank you.

We're not here to censor negative opinions (plenty of that being posted in the G8x forum), but if a user's posting habits show that they're in a forum only to bash on a vehicle repeatedly, they will have their access revoked.
