I can’t even do ANYTHING in this without having to pay a literal PRO SUBSCRIPTION. Nowadays literally every “free” app has a subscription that always keeps bugging you.
Touch controls feel natural
Modeling on a touchscreen actually works well here. Rotating, scaling, and combining objects feels smooth. The iPad Pro experience is especially good.
Best iOS 3D modeling app
Tried several alternatives. Shapeyard has the best balance of simplicity and power. Export to multiple formats is a huge plus.
3D printing made accessible
Never thought I could design my own prints on a phone. Made a custom hook, exported STL, printed it. Works perfectly in real life.
Solid export options
OBJ for game engines, STL for 3D printing. Both formats work flawlessly. Imported into Unity and Unreal without issues.

Surprisingly capable on mobile
I wasn't expecting much from a phone 3D app but Shapeyard really delivers. Made a low-poly sword, exported OBJ into Unity, looked great in my game scene.

She's 8 and figured out the controls in minutes. We designed a little cat figurine together and 3D printed it in STL. The print came out perfectly.
