I don't write many reviews, but felt compelled to do so for such a useful and well designed app such as this one. It works great. It's intuitive and easy to use without any instructions. I used it for my acoustic and had no trouble tuning my instrument. The feature I liked best was how I was able to change the tuning for my guitar to other than standard tuning (like open tuning) and even adjust the pitch setting for half step up or down. You can easily see when your guitar tuning is within range in the display. I love it!Show lessmgardiner

There Is No Finer Guitar Tuner
For over the past 40+ years that I have been playing guitars I have gone through the entire gamut of guitar tuners, everything from a tuning fork to the piano key, to the portable clip ons, and right through many rack and strobe units. But this app is definitely the best one I have come across so far. It is really, really easy to use, and the algorithm used is outstanding. Of course, my favorite feature is the graphics used to inform me that my guitar is in tune. If this app was in its own packaging, it's own small unit, then I would be buying multiple units, one for each of my several guitars.Show lesswhat a world what a world

Couldn't be clearer
I tried a number of the free apps, after much frustration from being left uncertain about whether the string was in tune or not, GuiTune's interface leaves you without a doubt if the string is in tune.
