  • Ho hum...

It's okay as far as Spanish-English dictionaries go. The organization seems a little off, by including phrases in the dictionary listings. I think the phrases should be placed in another section so one-word searches don't get so complicated. Also, the word of the day shouldn't pop up automatically; let me select it when I want to see it. I continue to use this dictionary because it IS very useful; there are just a few ways to make it better.

  • translation

I love it! Everyday I get a new word to translate and it helps me to learn the meaning of Spanish words. It is also an excellent program to use for translating from English to Spanish or any other language translation. I strongly recommend the program.
  • One Big Minus

I enjoy this program, and always avail myself of the "word a day" option. The problem is that only the first Spanish synonym given, out of the five or more offered, is pronounced. And to make it worse, the synonym offered is always the simplest to pronounce and the most like its English counterpart. I pay extra for the pronunciation option, and am very disappointed I don't get the opportunity to hear the pronunciation of many Spanish synonyms.

  • Very useful application

I love this app! I like the word of the day, and I like the ease of having the Spanish dictionary anywhere I need it, right at my fingertips. I just wish the vocabulary would be a little more expanded. All Spanish speaking countries have their own words, and it would be nice to not only have the universal Spanish, but also ones more catered to according to country.

  • Great app

This has been a pretty nice app to help me refresh and expand my vocabulary. As part of the "Word of the Day" they present multiple words which translated as the English. I have, however, suggested they include the "shades of meaning", as all words may or may not translate equally well (some include familiar usages of a word). Great app though, I've enjoyed it!

  • Great tool

It's a tool very useful for language learner speakers. The most of the words are here In a meaningful way. Whenever I think to look up a word in the most of the cases I always find the correct meaning of it. I encourage to everyone to have this app for its valuable information.
  • It's free! and does the job.

    Two very favorable things:
While searching it pulls up the closest word so you can save having to type the whole word hen you either see your word or see that it's not included*.
Also, you can use the microphone to simply speak the word, which speeds up the process even more.

One detraction is that the words are limited. I probably wouldn't even come up against that except I'm reading a Garcia Marquez novel which is full of a very rich and varied vocabulary and, so, I often have to wait 'til I'm home to use my trusty big dictionary.

That said, for a dictionary on the go (and FREE), I'm grateful for it.

  • A Practical and Basic Reference Tool

This Spanish dictionary is convenient on-the-go. I like that it also has a word of the day and some other options. It is not a comprehensive dictionary. I've used it to find a few different words that weren't in the dictionary. One that comes to mind is "inirico", with an accent over the first i. I got this word from Spanish subtitles in a cartoon.

Overall, it is a good enough, practical electronic reference tool.

  • Word of the day

I find this app useful in Spanish class. It's convenient to download an app like this instead of going out of my way to buy a spanish dictionary. The only problem I have with this app is the 'word of the day' feature. I honestly don't care about the word of the day. However, it doesn't even tell me the wors of the day when I click the app! That's my only problem. Overall everything else is okay.

  • value for price

I use it frequently, although I confess it took a while to work out how to use it. My main complaint is the lack of articles on the nouns (el, la). I'd like descriptions too because although many synonyms are supplies, I frequently have trouble distinguishing which synonym is the best to use in the context at hand. At least the dictionary distinguishes between verbs, nouns, adjectives etc.
