First and foremost, no data collected. That is a huge plus. Secondly, no monthly subscription trap like most of the other weather apps like carrot etc. The weather data as such is fairly accurate and on par with other weather reports. I like the fact that the widget has a clock baked into it. Makes a lot of sense. The interface of the app itself is simple and clean and very intuitive. No ads whatsoever in the main screen. Ads do show up in the options section though. That is why I rated it 4 stars instead of 5. I think the ads themselves are non intrusive since the developer does not collect any information from the user. I will ideally rate it 4.5 instead of 5Show lessSadilak
Best weather app I have purchased so far.
Let me say I have purchased a ridiculous amount of weather apps over the years. I feel like Cinderella when she tried on the glass slipper. I love that this works with my Apple Watch and that it is so easy to use. To be fair I have played around in the app for about a half hour but I think I have it down now. I find it easy to switch from radar to precip to extended forecasts. All I usually want is a quick glance at the forecast and the radar screen. This gives a ton more and it is relatively easy to navigate. So glad I found it.Show lessNursemichele
My go to app for weather for 5 years now
I love this app. It uses easy to understand graphics & offers several ways to view, either hourly or over the course of days, & you can save zip codes from other towns so you can track weather in your loved ones’ locations. I also like the feature where you can set a badge display with the current temperature so you don’t even need to open it to see what the temperature is! This is the only app I found that does this & it was my primary reason for choosing this app. Thumbs way up!Show lesseejit spotter
Changed artwork & animation
I’ve had this app over seven years. It was excellent and I recommended to several people. Now, it appears to me that they lost their designer or artist and they took their artwork with them. The background looks like a low resolution dated light blue clipart bubble-ish template. NOT SKY or CLOUD looking AT ALL.- It is the background even when it’s raining.?? The only other options are 2 dark blue screens, both so dark it looks like night, or black! The clouds also now have solid black edging’s that look like a grade school student colored it. When in the world you ever see a dark solid black outline on clouds when you look in the sky? I have my animations and settings set correctly, so that is not the issue. Pretty much any weather app can get the accurate statistics, so the animation is key. This is so visually unappealing now compared to what it used to be that I am deleting it, even after buying it a SECOND time because I thought the animations were not working due to sharing a newly added family account (years ago used same Apple ID) -they were so stagnant and different from what it used to be I was sure that was the reason. I had emailed the designer and heard nothing back … and loved it so much prior, I actually purchased it a second time under a different apple account. STUPID me - wasted $4. The Best I've Found!!!
This is simply the best weather app I have been able to find. NOAA is also a very nice set up, but eWeather HD seems much more intuitive. Being able to set a number of different areas for my review makes things much easier on me. I don't have to search to see the weather where I live, then my hometown, then frequent vacation places. I noticed people were claiming inaccuracy but it's very simple to set up different ZIP Codes in your settings. I've never had any problem with it whatsoever. I think anyone would enjoy eWeather HD, it's very complete, enjoyable simple to use.Show lessShilala

I Once Had This Installed On An Android&Loved It(Now Have IPhone&Now Have Installed This Again Based On All The Info&Interface&The Whole Setup To This App(I Have To Say This Is An Awesome&Very Accurate On Weather)I Only Have Two Requests That Will Help This Already Great App(ALLOW Lightning Detection)And You Dont Need Subscripts Either(And Please Add Another Couple Wallpaper Designs Like Seasonal~Winter, Spring, Summer&Fall$Add One For ChRiStMaS.(It Would Make This So Beautiful)Need A Little Extra Choice)I Recommend This To Anyone That’s A Weather Buff Like Me (It’s Really Loaded with Most Everything)However It’s Important That Lightning detection Be Adde(Almost All Weather Apps Have That Based On Lives Saved By That Feature Alone(Channel 4Columbus Ohio Has An Excellent Lightning Detection And Alerts To That And You Don’t Pay For High price Subscriptions Nor Do They Charge Extra(They R A Good Example On Their Lightning layout)Again Highly RECOMMEND This Weather APP👍👍👍👍Show lessPRHTWEETYBIRD

No real issues, definitely better now it’s not in Russian. Sometimes takes a while to update, but I don’t update in the background - saves drain on my battery
New update 2020 continues to give weather alerts in Cyrillic on all my iDevices, overlaps words in today view on my iPad garbling them, the weather clock garbles and covers itself as well. Also no longer have the weather clock, seems I need to download another app and pay again to have it on my today screen. I’ll go back to looking out the window as much use as I get from this now. Update 6-2-18 This has been my go-to weather app since I installed it. Does everything thing I need and want a weather app to do and does it well - still gets a 5⭐️ rating!! Only had this for a couple of days, but so far it works great. I like the temp on my icon and all the info available (pressure, humidity etc).Show lessWorks 4 me 2
My Go-to Forecast
We live in the country in North Texas where weather can change quickly, so current radar & forecasts are imperative. I use this app on both my iPhone & my iPad. It provides all I need I for this area, plus the same kind of info for cities where our grown kids live. When we plan a trip to a different part of the country, I temporarily add that location weeks before so we know what to expect. The graphics are incredible, & the data to back them up is rich & as accurate as your local TV forecast. Weather warnings, recent earthquakes, tides, & Amber alerts are also available. Options allow you to customize what you see & hear. I can't think of anything they haven't thought of!
The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the occasional lack of consistency between the main page with forecasts for the next several days plus all the stats for moon phase, hours of daylight, etc., & the next page showing long or short (your choice) descriptions of the forecast. Those used to be in sync, but recently they don’t always appear to be updated with the same forecast as the main page. If that were fixed, I don’t think there would be anything left to make it perfect.Show lessLeslieO46

When out on the road in Oklahoma, I need a weather program that changed with whatever area I am in. My regular one I use at home didn’t do that and one day I stopped to see what the humidity was. When that program found me, it showed a bad hailstorm minutes away. I barely found shelter in time. So I looked for one that would monitor wherever I was … and this program showed up. I is a lifesaver for me. When driving in bad weather, go to this program with my IPad on a mount so I have a bigger picture than my IPhone, I have it on both.Show lessgohoytus
Fine until update now wants us to pay again
Had this app fir ten years snd used on mine and hubbys iPads/phones , following the update on NY Day it’s now came off husbands account and he will have to pay £3.49 to get it back . Won’t map across with family sharing as not showing on my purchases despite me using app - not good enough and no way to contact anyone to get it resolved .
