Good and all for making a flip book or as a flashlight but the thing is it keeps on turning off the flashlight when you’re not even touching itbob do sone thing

This is perfect for me. It’s just what I wanted for my iPad. I didn’t want a bright flashlight. Just something that would give me enough light to get into the bedroom after I turn off all the lights etc. The screen lights white and it’s just enough to get me where I’m going. I love it! 😁Gogglebaby

Question about recent functionality
I love this app and have been using it as a reading light in bed since August with no issues. However, the last few nights when I’ve tried to use it, I’ll open the app to the color screen that I have set for my reading light and the screen will go dark after 30 seconds or so of inactivity. It seems to be mirroring my phone’s power saving preferences and dimming the screen since I am not actively touching it. I was wondering if this is reflective of the new update or simply an error? If it is part of the update, how can I set the app so that this does not happen?

Hi tcsteele, sorry for the late reply. This is the intended behavior. Starting with v3.8, MyLight reflects the power saving preferences of iOS and disables the always-on feature. For now, the only way to bypass this is by disabling your iPhone’s power-saving mode. PS: I got pointed out to this problem via another user. My iPhone’s light stopped working. It started working again after I installed this app! Probably user error; Dunno but don’t care either. Works! And if it stops again, I can use the all white screen option. The strobe effects are just perks. ❤️it!tonybiblerocks
