  • Rubbish app

Hifi+ is a great magazine. But this app is awful. The way the pages flick is cheap, pointless and becomes increasingly annoying and the PDFs are not clear enough. Zinio and kindle are infinitely better. Don waste your money on this rubbish. What's more after 4 issues it wouldn't give me any new issues despite having subscribed for a year! Utter garbage.

  • Terrible app

I was excited to be able to read this hifi rag on me iPad. Unfortunately it's almost impossible to read the font...you have to zoom in on every page just to see the writing clearly. They obviously are lazy and don't care about the end user. BOOOO!!!!!!
  • Disappointing

Very disappointing experience. Please include prefs to turn off animated page turning, it's very frustrating to use and gets in the way of actually reading the magazine. No print function. Cannot highlight or copy text. Unless I'm missing something no functionality at all.
  • Crash, crash, crash!

This app is soooooo unstable, I think it crashes every time I open it. Can the developers fix this PLEASE?
  • For the price you don't get much!

For the price of the app you get to download one free issue, the rest you have to pay for. Don't waste your money, read Positive Feedback on Facebook, it is free and covers the same material with links to other sources also.
  • OK App - good content

Fine, it's not the slickest App in the world but it does the job and for £12 for 8 issues it's a real bargain if you're a regular reader.
  • Very Poor

When are people going to learn that a glorified PDF just doesn't work as an iPad magazine, just too difficult to read and annoying. if you can't produce content specifically for an electronic device then dont bother. Content 5 stars, App zero stars.
  • Do not meet expectation

Basically it allow you to buy electronic copy of the magazine.
The viewer is very slow and painful interface.
  • Great mag, but software needs better controls for iPhone

Probably one the best audio magazines out there, but the software controls to read it on an iPhone need significant improvement. Specifically, the control for resizing the page doesn't work consistently on my iPhone 4, leaving the text blurry on most pages. Content likely needs to be presented a more e-native format, not just an online redo of the printed mag.

  • Only one problem

I like this app. It has cool animation for flipping pages, and the in-app purchase of individual issues or subscriptions is cheaper than ordering an electronic subscription from the publisher. There is one very annoying feature though. On any page that links to web content, there is a pulsating circle in one corner of the page. This is very annoying and distracting. I flip past these pages as fast as possible - probably not what the advertisers want. There doesn't seem to be any way to turn this off.
