Terrible & Frustrating!

I used to love reading my digital version of the magazine but sadly no longer. I can no longer read from left to right as if reading the actual magazine, instead I have to scroll down each page now. The app is slow and not very responsive making the whole experience extremely frustrating. I won’t be renewing my subscription which is a shame as the printed version isn’t available in my country of residence.

Cannot open Ap

I have subscribed to the on line magazine for a good number of years and have often had difficulty open it but this month it will not function at all. Are you having it difficulties, are they going to be resolved?

Recipe search doesn’t work

It should be easy to search for a recipe. I have to scroll through a list of recipes, not in alphabetical order, and when I find the one I need and click on it, it doesn’t take me to that recipe.
Is it supposed to work on an iPad?
Completely underwhelmed by this app.

Unresponsive app

Very disappointing. Slow response, each page takes forever to download. Often wait ages for a page only to discover it’s an ad. Have restarted iPad, admittedly it’s quite old, and that doesn’t seem to be the problem. I’ve subscribed for years but will probably go back to paper version.

Worst app

I have never written a review for an app but I cannot describe how annoying this app is. Every time I close the app, I have to log in again. It then says I’ve put the incorrect password so I have to reset my password. If I click “forgot password” the email to reset it never comes through! I’ve been unable to log in for the past 30 days, which means I am not getting access to my magazines. Every time I do manage to get through, I have to “restore purchases” so I can access the magazine. So incredibly frustrating.

Latest Upgrade is a Nightmare

I’ve been a customer for years and always enjoyed the app and content. The upgrade last week has resulted in me losing 9 issues. I have the ones before and after and the help desk just keeps asking me about another subscription which would have been a year lost not 9 months. The app won’t open on my iPad and I’ve checked the iOS version and it’s fine and the upgrade deleted ALL my bookmarks going back years saving favourite recipes. It’s even now deleted ones I added from the latest issue post the app upgrade. Can’t say how disappointed I am in the mess this upgrade has caused me and the time it is taking to sort out.

Disappointing

Since the latest upgrade my previously downloaded issues need downloading again and all my previously saved bookmarks have disappeared. The pages take time to load and overall the upgrade has not improved my experience. Very disappointed.

Crashes

This update opens and crashes immediately on my iPad. “More stable”? I think not!

Rubbish and waste of money

Having just purchased the latest magazine the app won’t open it. All I can see are the adverts which are of no use. I’ve complained to Apple and asked for a refund and they have refused with no reason given. I’m glad I’ve only wasted £4.99 but with minimal income due to COVID it’s money I can’t afford to lose. I feel I’ve been scammed.
