  • Last update glitch

Last update has a screen issue on iPhone X. Library browse, icons at bottom (Artist, Album, genre, etc) barely visible and not accessible.

    Developer Response

Fixed in the latest version. Please report bugs via email, that'll get them fixed much quicker!
  • Awesome!

I’ve been a Foobar user for 10+ years and this app is a treasure. Does what it says and does it well.
This is the only app I ever felt compelled to write a review on. Love it!
  • The best Foobar2000 controller for iOS

Despite the cutesy name, MonkeyMote has been and is the premiere iOS native app for Foobar2000 network control. That it continues to be developed and supported by the creator speaks volumes about the project. One day Peter may build rich network control into the Foobar iOS app, but until then, MonkeyMote is the best solution available.

  • Doesn't Work

    Not at all.
  • Excellent!

I am using paid version plus in-app option. Overall it’s an awesome remote and streaming app for any foobar2000 user.

Just one note - developer may want to improve app icon. That monkeys’s face does look very questionable😱
  • It's cool.

The best remote control for foobar2000!
  • Almost perfect

This app transformed use of our house digital music player. No longer consigned to squatting in front of a laptop, we can operate the player with an iPhone or iPad (2 separate app purchases though).
Would like to see a better interface on the iPhone version (the iPad version is much superior), and sorting should ignore The and A prefixes. But otherwise this app is awesome.

What so What an awesome app.
  • Update, Won't connect

After a lot of experimenting, trial and error, and re-installing the plugin into the PC It finally showed up in foobar2000 and is now working.

This is a terrible app that requires a lot of computer know how to even try to use. You have download plugins to your computer and type in DOS commands to find IP address and still doesn't work. No detailed step by step instructions that I can find. Won't even find my network automatically.

You need to have Bonjour installed on the PC for the automatic discovery to work. There's no need to use the command line, the IP address is shown in the plugin configuration dialog.
  • Great remote for foobar

Huge improvement over the lite version I can see my whole music library.

    Thanks
