This app has been so helpful. I'm getting better and better at German! The only problem is that you have to pay 10 bucks just to learn German you'll actually use.
You need a stupid passport to do everything
I would like to go to Germany but I need to learn how to speak it first. I'm not going to pay $10 for a stupid passport
Purchased but doesn't function.
I purchased this, but it doesn't work. Always says the server is having problems when I try to load it. I click on purchase, it then tells me I already purchased it and click "ok" to download again. At his point it says the server is having problems. Should I ask for my money back?

Love this app, Well worth it, however a very big help would be to include a turtle button on the audio. To be able to slow the speech down would be a HUGE help..............please????.......fishfacesdp

Very easy & well organize. Did my first lesson; I'm impressed.

I quite like the format, with the memory game and hangman, and so paid the £6.99 for the all-access passport, but subsequently found that basic errors crept in e.g when you press the word Asthma it tells you the word for Arthritis, and in hangman a sentence beginning with Ich is translated as he. They are minor things but they make you wonder if what you are learning is 100% correct. Also, the use of flashcards and repetitive exercises would aid memorizing the vocab and make it more users friendly. Plus, the grammar section was disappointing as I expected something more interactive than basic tables. With a bit of tweaking and the development of the basic format it could be really good.

I've always had a fascination with all things German. I've just now downloaded this app to my iPad & I love it! I've tried some of the other apps on German & really wasn't all that impressed....definitely not the case here! I would highly recommend this app to anyone who has a desire to learn a foreign language. I have prior knowledge of German so I love the fact that it offers different levels based upon your working knowledge of the language.
Having said this, I do have an issue with the practice section. When conjugating verbs, the program fails to differentiate between formal Sie & sie as in she or they.

I love it i am already learning some german Even my family is impressed it is a great way to start your learning on this language

This is a good app because it teaches you alot just like any other languge you would speak and you can learn it in just a few days
