  • iPod Touch?

It might be a little on the small side ... but the "Orb" page would still prove useful for those of us unable (or unwilling) to embrace a v1 iPad.

Howsabout it, guys? Can't be too difficult!
  • Terrible

This is buggy as hell. First it replaced my entire Omnisphere Multi without any warning. Then the controls were spotty at best - multiple seconds of delay between touching controls on the iPad and seeing changes reflected in the Omnisphere plugin. Then after a few minutes it just stops working altogether. Not happy. Not happy at all.

  • Crashing but full of potential

I've had two of the same issues reported here... frequent loss of connection to Omnisphere, and Omni TR loading multis on its own.

    I'm running Logic 8 on a Mac.

While it is connected and running smoothly, the orb is fantastic. Definitely creates a sense of being more connected to the sound.
It's an elegant design with incredible potential.

    Looking forward to an update.

  • Resetting multis? Crashing!

Right now, if I use more than 3 instances of the orb, omnisphere decides to load a completely different multi set up and overwrites all settings, not quite usable yet.. Also, frequent crashes. Im sure it will get better! Thanks!
  • Fun to use with Omnisphere!

This is a fun way to break free from the computer screen and jam in a "live" mode, so you can concentrate on the music. You still have to get Omnisphere set up within your DAW first, but after that you can get away from the monitor and just use your iPad and keyboard. GUI is intuitive and buttons are big, so it is easy to use.

  • Make it 3.2 compatible

Or add MIDI to make it a real 4.2 app.
  • Free, thanks!

Omni gets even better, I hope Spectrasonics are rewarded for their generous updates and free apps by more people buying this amazing VSTi
