Gridlock
There are indeed a few things to love about this app, especially the cue mix! But the major oversight of having a ruler grid set to seconds instead of bars renders this app frustratingly useless as a remote control. It is almost impossible to accurately set up an 8 bar loop to record to! Really! Did I already say it’s so frustrating? It makes matters worse when a quick scan of user forums reveals that this fundamental feature has been requested for over 10 years. The cue mix and key commands are wonderful, but the grid actually makes this remote a time waster, not a time saver. It could be SO GOOD!

Hi DeeJay SchmeeJay, Thank you very much for your Cubase iC Pro rating and review - greatly appreciated. Cubase iC Pro supports using markers, which comes in pretty handy when it comes to loop recording. Here I'd suggest to create several cycle markers in your Cubase project (e.g. individual cycle markers for several verses and/or chorus parts etc.), which all will be displayed in Cubase iPro. Once done you can pretty easily jump to those cycle marker sections via simple tap(s) from within iC Pro to play these in a loop. Hope that makes sense for you workflow-wise.
