CPA who has replaced bulky 10 key calculator with this app
I recommend this app to anyone who is familiar with a 10 key adding machine.
BENEFITS
1. Most important, the app is accurate and works like a 10 key adding machine!
2. Carrying the iPad is easy to carry to meetings and appointments.
3. I can save tapes for each client job, for future reference.
4. I can easily label sections of the tape.
5. I can print a tape directly to an Apple capable printer, or my HP model that excepts wireless printing.
6. I have emailed two times for support. In both instances, I received a competent answer in a timely manner.
Other thoughts
1. So far, the app is been very reliable. I have never had a problem after updating. I usually wait about 10 days before updating.
2. The only thing I miss is that the keys are not 3-D like a manual adding machine key pad. Tip: Turning on the sound option at the first level helps me to know if I my fingers are aligned properly for the keypad.
3. Each tape has 400 lines (I think). If I run out of a of space on a tape for a client, I simply open up another tape for that client with a two after the client name.

Handy 10 Key App
This 10 key app works just like my favorite adding machine. I use it often. I find 10 key to be much quicker and easier than a standard calculator for most of my needs.cazglove

Make it more intuitive
Make it more intuitive. It is too difficult to figure out how to use it. Love the tape export feature. I have not yet found a total key. Found a GT key but that is not a total key. There is a great need for this app, but it needs to be more intuitive or easier to figure out how to operate it.John3099

Use this app every day. Work in an accounting office and I don't even keep my adding machine on my desk any more. Love that I can export or save my "tape". Also the GRAB feature is useful. Get it!!!Mel0336

Not ever having used this type of calculator before, I was a little hesitant to purchase. I found that it is extremely useful to me, easy to use and has great support. I did not understand the function of one of the keys and emailed support. Within an hour I had a response that cleared up for me the keys function.
