I have other scanning apps that do many tricks including QR codes but this one is the best and most accurate at it that I found.

Best scanner app
I tried 10 different QR and barcode scanner apps. This one was the most versatile and able to scan more kinds of codes than any of the others. Instead of just popping up websites it gives you the option of searching using Google, Bing, and a variety of other search tools. I like that the in-app purchase eliminates ads and lets you make your own QR codes. Very cool!Show lessVLuser
Efficient & Independent
I really found it easy to learn and use. Microsoft's version has a nice look to its "tags," but all your information rests on its servers. Again, it's nice to be able to correct your info and keep the same QR, but for privacy issues, I'd rather have the funkier look and redo my QRs. For businesses where large runs of printed copies are made and it is public info that is being exhibited, Microsoft may be the way that you need to go.Show lessMoroccoMike
I'd recommend it.
I've had this App for about a year with little or no problems. I use it irregularly to generate codes containing contact info and URL data. It's been great to use the app after a long period to see some of the helpful upgrades. I paid for the inApp upgrade when I first downloaded and have never lost any functionality.
Now if people would just start using these on their business cards more so I wouldn't have to fumble so much with a card reader or typing.Show lessDetective1511
Awesome app!
This app has been getting crap from users... Let me clear some things up.
First off, the app has two versions, a free version and a paid. The free only scans and in my opinion dose a grate job and has the nicest interface of all the apps I have tried before. The paid version dose both, and to be honest it's in my top 10 list of paid apps I have bought. This app is worth a million bucks, great job dev team!Show lessLevi M. Luke
Not what it claims!
It's deceptive to name your app "QR Reader and Creator" when it actually will not create anything! Yes, it's free. But if I had wanted to download an AD for the app I need I would have searched for "QR creator ADVERTISEMENT". As it stands this may or may not be a decent QR reader but I will never know because I am deleting it now. If all you want is a reader, there are plenty of others that do just that, advertise as that, and don't clutter the interface with false options that only work when you buy a DIFFERENT app. Save yourself some time--if you need a QR creator, this isn't what you need. Deja vu
I don't use this app frequently because useful QR codes a novel. Many link shortening services include QR codes. For the occasions when I do need to scan or edit one, Quafter is top-notch. As I read this update, however, it appears that some of the features I fiddled around with in the past (coloring codes, emailing…) are now only available with an in-app purchase.
I can appreciate the need to monetize to support continued development. Maybe this speaks more to Apple than the developers, but it seems there should be a way to require in-app purchases for new users and leave features loyal users have paid for intact.Show lessKwill

The best QR app
I love this app. I've tried many QR apps for work where we use them on our business cards and elsewhere. This gives the best results AND it can generate QR codes as well. Love the security checker too. A bargain!picard2bridge
