  • Great for learning!

Bluster! is a great app which I will use in my classroom all the time. It has the option to play single player or dual-player mode. Dual-player mode is awesome. Each person has half of the iPad and they duel it out against the other person on vocabulary and word items (prepositions, rhyming words, etc) for different difficulty levels. Players have to match the words in the bar above and if they are too slow they get a tornado across their boards from the other player. I recommend this to anyone who wants to increase knowledge and understanding of vocabulary.

  • Love it

    Educational and fun
  • Cannot track progress for different users

This is a cute app, and my wordy 10 year old will probably enjoy it, but my second grader, not so much. I think there are too many words presented in each game to sort through for second graders. It has a great concept, but could use some more to it. I dislike that I cannot have different users to enter, track progress, and such. So many games have this, but the two games by this maker that I have tried, neither have this ability. I know kids should not have to be rewarded for everything they do, but in playing a game, they really need something more than a "good job" on the screen.

  • Love this app!

I am a Speech/Language Pathologist in an Elementary School setting. I really love this app but would love to see you add the ability to add or choose developmentally appropriate vocabulary and ability to take and share data. Keep up the great work.
  • Please add more content!

I adore this app. The kids love it. The three choices of play are great for different kids' needs and personality.

I would be very happy to pay for additional levels and additional content areas.

Please create more. My kids ask for Bluster often, but we've gotten through the content and need more.

Also- there are some initial sound images in the screen shots that are not in the game?? Where are these?

  • Missing a few things

It's a good start. I'd like to see audio of the words. I can't find first grade!!! Is there a way to add it?

Nice rhyming app, although its disappointing when all three rhyming choices are made and there is an incorrect answer, it does not indicate which word is incorrect.....a hint for the student would be nice so they know what to look for in their mistake. Also, the word list is a much overwhelming for the younger grades...choices of three or four would be better.

  • School SLP

This app has great potential for keeping kids motivated to learn more vocabulary that they will find in their McGraw treasures reading series. We need 5th and 6th grade too, please!
  • GREAT APP!

Very well designed. Simple, fun, colorful, easy to learn.
  • Bluster

The examples in this game show lower grade levels than second grade and working with skills like initial sounds and other basic stuff...didn't see that on mine and like that idea...how can I get it?
