  • My Go To For Strain Analysis

    I find Leafly to be a highly useful app for exploring various cannabis strains. It’s incredibly informative, providing detailed insights into each strain’s effects and flavors, which helps set expectations. The feature allowing users to leave reviews adds value, as it offers perspectives from others who have tried the strain.

    However, I do have a suggestion for improvement. While the app specifies whether reviews are for flower, carts, etc., it lacks the ability to filter reviews by form. This can be frustrating when scrolling through reviews, especially when searching for specific product experiences. Adding a filter option for different forms would be highly useful.

    Overall, Leafly is a fantastic resource for cannabis enthusiasts, but implementing this suggested feature would make it even more user-friendly and convenient for all.

    I’ve been using this app for so long and it has never let me down. Such an invaluable, and free(!) resource without ads or any attempts to get you to sign up for anything. I’ve never found any other app that provides such a compendium
     of info and with such great UI. I pretty exclusively use it to look up strains that my local shop has, to get a better description of the vibe I can expect. But every once in a while I appreciate the other features, such as looking up which shops nearby have a specific strain I want, or reading their lists of strains for a certain mood/symptom.
    Favorite features include the relaxing-to-energizing spectrum visualizer, the genetics visualizer, and the positive and negative effects list (although I DO miss how they used to show this, where it wasn’t just the top 3 in each category). The greatest of all is the strain reviews, because everyone is clearly completely blazed when they wrote them, and it is so funny and entertaining reading through them all.

  • Suggestions

    This is a great app! However, I’ve noticed there is no tab for cartridges. I have to go to the website on my browser, but the website doesn’t have concentrates.

    Also, I think to really top this app off - add a “diary” section where we can write about the effects or whatever notes we want to put down. I don’t always want to write public reviews. I’ve created a note in my phone for all of it but it’s become SO long and hard to navigate. There are so many different strains coming out all the time, it’s hard to remember what I’ve bought, liked, and disliked. Sometimes the THC level or terpenes are slightly different with each batch as well, so I have different bullet points stating the levels of everything and the effects it had. It would be really neat to have all that in the app!

    That would give it 5stars for me!
