Amazing!
I downloaded the App on my IPad2 and connected to the two test cameras that Foscam lists on their website for test purposes (one indoor controllable camera and one fixed outdoor model). The software worked without flaw! I really like the ability to control the indoor camera in landscape mode just by touching and holding the quadrant of the screen you want the camera to point to. It's ok for free
Let's start by saying the people that say this is as good as the $5 app is full of crap. Especially if you have multiple cameras. The pay app beats this free one hands down. This is nice for free but with the paid one you can see up to 4 cameras at the same time as well as zoom which this free one cannot do either. Great App
I have downloaded several apps to control the Foscam I recently purchased and this is the only one that worked properly. All others I've tried would move the camera left when I tried to move right and right when I wanted to move left. As for the gripes about audio, blame Apple for not supporting Active X, not the app developer. I would have gladly paid for this app.Show lessLaBlacksheep
Really surprised me!
I have indoor foscam pan and tilt camera, new to iPad so I was disappointed when safari couldn't move the camera. Found this app, works great, if it supported sound it would be even better. Really easy to set up, 5 starsRazorcharlie
Good app but better than $4.99?!
Come on people; this is a good app and it does what it needs to do, but there's no way it's better than the paid app! Cab you set email alerts? No. Can you take a cam photo and email it? No. Can you view multiple cameras at once? No. Can you scroll between cameras? No. I'm sure I've missed something, but you get the idea.
This is a good app and is worth the price of 'free', but free is less than $4.99 no matter which way you look at it.
If you want simple, this is for you. If you want a little more than simple, try $4.99.Show lessJosuff36

'Wish I would have downloaded this BEFORE I wasted my $$$ on another paid Foscam app! In my opinion, this one is better, has more configuration options, just as good UI, just as fast....but is free! Don't let the fact its free scare you off, it's an amazing app!

Exactly what is needed!
Bought a camera to watch my apartment while away, and it works perfect! Tried using Safari and it just wasn't cooperating. When I found this app, I will never go back. Can be used on the go, using network Internet connection. Great picture, only desired modifications is video recording/photo capabilities, and email/alarm settings activation. Screenshots work for now! Should be a paid app it's so good!Show lessbleedgr33n
Does all it should
Working well. Frame rate is lower than that in the browser though, visually - is it dropping frames? It should not really need much processing power, so slightly surprising. Delay is longer as well. But overall is a must especially because camera tilting does not work in foscam own web app when viewed via iPhone/iPad's Safari.Show lessYlexus

New 1.1 version features work great
Very pleased with updated version's new features. Pan and tilt were in old version. New version adds controls for brightness, contrast, flip, mirror, 640x480 vs 320x240 size, 50hz/60hz/Outdoor and they all work fine. For some reason, the pan controls are backwards for me (in old and new versions) but they do work. You must define a new "camera feed" for each camera you have, but it is easy and fast to switch between them. We are controlling 2 Foscam FI8918W cameras.
