  • Genius!!

I have had many pitch and tempo changing devices over the years and have cost me in the hundreds. This is awesome because it did what those devices did and I have it in my pocket , import a song from my playlist and it's $4!! A must for musicians learning songs or practicing parts. Worth more. Well done

  • Great app

Being a drummer, this app is a godsend. Great for figuring out licks.
  • Great for analyzing music/composition

Really useful for musicians who want to analyze composition and technical tricks used in musical recordings. I love the interface, nice and minimal and really a joy to use. I find the playhead/loop point selectors confusing because the indicators at the bottom aren't shown the way they are for the filter and time-stretching circles.

Also the sound starts to get really granular and "time-stretchy" sounding when slowed down a lot. This could be improved.

Other than that, I really love using this app, great work!

  • Do You Like Music?

If "yes", then you will need, want, and very soon LOVE this one. Five stars.
  • Phenomenal.

I had written another review prior to uncovering the full set of features for this app and have since then removed my previous post. This app is incredible. I have never before been able to manipulate so many aspects of a track so simply within one software application, and certainly never on an iOS device. I was blown away. While listening to Lady Gaga's "Paparazzi", I was able to increase tempo, change the key, fine tune the track down to the FREAKING SEMITONE (that's amazing) and then mix the track to my liking with highs, mids, and lows. Absolutely incredible. It's almost like having a mobile mixing station in your pocket. What's more is that I can play the track IN REVERSE. Have you ever heard Dance/Pop backwards? It's like a whole new track. It's phenomenal. I played an instrumental track that I've been working on for my own personal record and I was able to increase tempo, play with the pitch any way I like, and mix the sound to perfection. I am so blown away at how much this app has to offer. I was complaining about the price before, but now I feel that it's completely worth it. DEVELOPERS: I only have a few minor requests for this app. 1.) It would be very nice to have the option of exporting this track as an .m4a, .AAC, or .MP3 so that users can listen to their new track in the iPod at any time. 2.) It would be nice to have a few skins to choose from. Maybe even a black wallpaper with the black record and neon borders. 3.) It would be nice if the buttons at the bottom were customizable within the settings. I'd prefer to put the repeat button AFTER the effects button, instead of it being before as is now. 4.) The music note looks a little funky. Any way you could put a note with a vertical flag or a pair of eighth notes with the left lower than the right (like the default in iTunes for a track with no artwork)? THANK YOU for taking the time to read my post. I hardly ever right reviews, but this app simply MUST receive the good credit that it absolutely deserves. Developers, thank you, thank you, THANK YOU! This is just what I was looking for. I can use this tool to help figure out the best tempo, intervals, and keys for my tracks. This is fantastic. Again, thank you.

  • Excellent

I'm using this for dropping acapellas when I'm jamming, can easily adjust the tempo and pitch to fit them in. Really slickly made app, easy to use, simple and intuitive interface. Good stuff, can think of loads of different uses for this.
  • Great for learning to play songs!

This is beautiful and simple app is perfect for musicians learning by ear! I've been slowing down songs by reducing the tempo and setting a part of the song in repeat so that I can master a difficult guitar riff.

    I love the interface!
  • Great app! I've been looking for this...

Finally, an app that allows me to change to speed of a song without changing the pitch!

I love that I can pitch control songs already on my phone. I teach dance classes, and sometimes you want to use a song on your phone, not a CD to teach, but you need to slow it down. This app is perfect for that!

  • Useful for musicians

This player allows you to load in tracks from your song list (iphone/ipod). You can loop sections, change key in semitones, pitch, speed. Interface is novel and mostly intuitive. You can't add a song folder. When adding songs to the list you have to add them one at a time.
