Waste of money
Waste of money, don't buy it. Can't import .rtf files. Crashes.
This app is exactly what I was looking for
I play in several cover bands and I got this app to help with lyrics and guitar chords. I don't know why this app has bad reviews. I have copied and paste songs from the Internet straight into the app. Then you have the abilities to modify the text. Changing colors of the background and/or words. You can make the font larger or smaller. You also have the auto scroll function, so when your playing you will not need to touch the iPad to good to the next page. Plus you can make set list for you gig. For $2 you can not go wrong. Trust me if you play music and gig out you need this app to make you job easier.

Great App
I don't know what these bad reviews are about. I've never read any instructions to this app. I found it to be very intuitive and easy to use. I use it live on stage and have never had it stop, stutter or stumble in two years since my purchase. I play drums and sing. Thus app is easy enough to operate on the fly while I am playing. It could use a metronome and midi support, but, for 2 bucks?, yeah, buy it.

Works GREAT for me
I use this app as a teleprompter for lyrics I may not be familiar with when doing "club date" gigs here in the NE tri-state. I was able to transfer the needed lyrics from my other teleprompter type apps and voila. It works like a charm. I prefer saving them as text for future editing. I also like that you can create a specific setlist aside from the full library of songs you use. I was surprised to see all the bad reviews. This app is STELLAR in function for me.

Do not buy this app!!!!
This app is worthless! I could not transfer songs to this app, so I copied/pasted all lyrics into the app (very time consuming)!!! I did that all in vain because after doing all of that, I could not send songbook or even one song to other singers/musicians via this app! They need to take it out of the App Store, FIX the issues, and then add app back to the App Store. Otherwise, they are taking your money, and that's not right! DO NOT BUY THIS APP!!!

App did not work. Very user Unfriendly. Waste of Money.
I could not get any lyrics of any songs to load on this app. They need to take this app off the iTunes market and make it work before they try to sell this on iTunes again.
Wasted my money
I downloaded it and it will not tranfer the lyrics from the computer to the ipad. Wasted $3 on junk. BEWARE!
Very User Unfriendly
I just spent $2.00 on this app and I am unable to access any lyrics. There are ways to do it, they say, but It is certainly not direct. You will need to use text advisor, or your e-mail or something thru iTunes; none of which I can do. They never stated any of this until the app was purchased. This is my very first review and wanted to inform others before they throw their hard-earned money away like I just did. I ended up buying another lyric pro app for $1.00 more and found instant success.

Perfect App for Singers
This is a great app if you know what it is for. This is just what I needed - an app that makes live singing better. It is not an app to find lyrics. It enables you to take lyrics you already have, copy them into the app, and "play" the lyrics in auto scroll mode while you sing.
I have a ton of lyrics to songs that I sing in text form in Dropbox. But if I view them on the iPad or iPhone as I play the song, I have to take my hands off the guitar to scroll down. And my eyesight isn't great so I use a larger font, which means even more scrolling.
This is not good because it stops the song. So this app is a great solution. You can even create set lists.
I am giving it 5 stars because it really works and I hope the developer continues to support it.
A few suggestions:
1. The font should go larger than 30 points. Older guys like me don't see as well.
2. It should auto line break the lyrics if you increase the font size. Now it cuts off the line. I manually break the lines with a return but it would be great if it did this automatically like a word processor.
3. Sharing with friends would be great. So if you had a group all singing together and they each had the app, I could just email them the snag and they would click a link to have the lyrics show up on their iPad or iPhone.
4. an iPhone version would be great. And the songs should sync across iPad and iPhone so I don't have to enter them twice.
5. charge more! I would happily pay more as I really need this type of app and I want to keep you in business supporting the app.

Great app for gigs
As a singer in a band, this app is perfect. Some people complained that you have to add your own lyrics. Ya know what? I'd much rather spend some time copying and pasting lyrics from the Internet onto this app and have it stored in the database over copying and pasting onto word and printing it all out. I think it's awesome.
