Getting better
This App is getting better all the time. Loaded it several years ago and tried it again just now. Unrecognizable. It has improved greatly- a rolling history lesson if you take the time to explore the state and it’s (often Confederate) history. Don’t “Woke out” it’s history - something that actually happened and happened here (where each sign puts you). Enjoy, learn, discuss with your kids and grandchildren.Show lessRowdy78
iPhone iOS update to 10.3.1
I updated my phone yesterday and now when I click on the red pin dots, I am no longer able to read about a particular marker. Please correct soon. I love this app and use it every weekend!! Thanks. I am giving this a 1 star until this is corrected!!!history_hound

History made easy
The app makes it simple to find historical markers, get directions and share information with friends. Markers can be sorted by proximity and subject matter.nonaesthetic
You can search entire state
To FluffyRAM--you can search entire state. Click on "search by other than current location" button. And yes, there are markers missing but remember this app was developed for the Civil War150 Historical Marker Project. All Civil War markers are included and as many others as could be added during the survey conducted by GHS. Even so, this is still the best marker app available. It has more functions and is more attractive than any other. Congrats to GHS and the GA Dept. of Economic Development for creating this pioneering app! Search by other than current location
I am planning a trip to Atlanta but live in Florida. How do I see markers there before I get there. It would be nice to plan that way.Odie Sam
App good. Data missing.
The App itself is not bad, although it would be useful if you could also set the search location rather than only being able to search from 'current location'.
There are also way too many markers missing which is a real shame.FluffyRAM
Great idea but needs updating
I really appreciate the makers of this app, but there are a lot of markers missing. Went to the website but didn't see how to contribute. Great idea though and hope more markers are included in future updates.Dodilijv
Beautiful, easy to use
Really cool and easy to use, and a good-looking app, too. The only minor problem is some of the text in the marker detail is formatted a little weird, and could use some cleanup.
Will be definitely be pulling up this app on the next nice day and doing some exploring in my neighborhood!WoodyGA
