The Kentucky Historical Society explores the state’s history through its historical sites, markers, and landscapes. Good information but limited functionality

The best thing about this app is the writing- detailed and engaging. At the same time, the app itself is very limited and so this isn’t much different than the state’s online encyclopedia with articles pinned to a map.

Hi there, thanks for the review. Just wanted to point out that (if you give the app location access), you can quickly browse stories by proximity, which is a great way to learn about the history around your current location as you travel or just explore your own neighborhood.
