Love this app, wonderful information for content creation and writing documentaries. Very informative, I just hope it stays updated.

Good information but limited functionality
The best thing about this app is the writing- detailed and engaging. At the same time, the app itself is very limited and so this isn’t much different than the state’s online encyclopedia with articles pinned to a map.

Hi there, thanks for the review. Just wanted to point out that (if you give the app location access), you can quickly browse stories by proximity, which is a great way to learn about the history around your current location as you travel or just explore your own neighborhood.
History app
I like the app but it seems like its missing a lot of historical markers. Perhaps more will be added?

An easy way to find Historical Markers by theme. Easily accessible. It's also nice to have images connected to the Marker text.
Great way to find local history!
I found this app to be extremely useful in finding local history surrounding a theme or topic. The content uses the state's historical marker program as the framework but contextualizes the place with rich scholarship and historical collections. KHS is always adding new content and tours.
This app is a must have if your touring the Commonwealth!
