Way too many notifications!
I used to like KWTX but they will send almost 20 notifications a day (and I have 3 of the 4 categories turned off). A lot of them are sent more then once and just reworded. As much as I want breaking news notifications there is no reason for the volume of useless news that is pushed out over this app. I really don’t mind there articles even though some have pretty bad grammar or spelling errors.Show lessAlCarl254
Poor Reporting
It appears that KWTX has begun exclusively utilizing the Texas Tribune for its reporting. The Texas Tribune has been shown to lean left and certainly does not report news without bias.
KWTX also seems to be reaching for reasons to send breaking news alerts either for news items from other states that don’t impact the local area or items that have occurred several days ago.

Too Many Breaking News Notifications
There are WAYYY too many breaking news notifications. It’s not breaking news if it happened YESTERDAY! Every update to a news article isn’t breaking news! Wayyyyyy too many notifications every day over things that do not impact the day to day lives of those that live in central texas!qpwoeudhsmz
App shows ad content even more
This app didn’t previously show ads/sponsored “news” from elsewhere in the country when you pressed the back button. Now it does. Spammy behavior. No good. Fix this.jspurlin03
Unable to find items of interest.
I am looking for the status of the Temple School Bond’s final tally and it is not here. Has the Commissioners court decided or are they awaiting so lost ballots? Perhaps the vehicle transporting ballots from all the cemeteries has been delayed or has broken down. Poor website to try and find information that’s current.Show lessTucanChew
Lazy journalism
I’m sick of KWTX posting primarily negative news stories and posting stories that reinforce the same liberal garbage stories you see in too many other “news” sources. It’s lazy journalism and doesn’t represent the people in this community equally. Stop writing opinion pieces disguised as news.Baileys4jc

FYI if you have a hard time seeing & reading the very small print on the app. Just delete it & use the website to see news & weather. You can’t adjust text size with the app but you can on the website. Hop you find this helpful.GoofeyAunt
Leftist rhetoric delivered daily
Get all your local news with a leftist slant with this app. Every dang story seems to have a narrative that is counter to any conservative ideal. Really trash when it comes to objective journalism.Ragnar Peterson
News and Ads Indistinguishable
This app needs to revise its layout. The authority of the news is diminished because ridiculous ads have exactly the same format. Ads should be clearly marked or segregated into a side bar.cjoncrawford
