Constant Crashing
I keep hoping that the next time I download this app it is not going to crash over and over again. Do you even look at these reviews? I don’t think so because this has been going on for months and months. It is very apparent that you don’t care that your review rating, 2.7, is the lowest of the three local stations. You use to be my go to station, but no more. I go to KCEN now. This is really sad.Show less5146
Crashes a LOT
Crashes more often than it works. Tried deleting, re downloading, nothing helps. Gonna delete it and start using another news app.Geo_Tool_Man
Crashes upon opening
This was my favorite local news app. Now it’s worthless. If it doesn’t crash as it opens it will as soon as you tap on a story to read. It hasn’t worked in weeks now. I tried to delete and reinstall thinking maybe that would force a fix, no luck.denee2012
This app crashes more than any other app on my phone.
I really want to like this app. I love KWTX and enjoy using them as a source for getting the news. Unfortunately, almost EVERY time I open it and click on the news column- it completely crashes. This has happened for the past year. It works but will suddenly crash during one of the stories. For the past 2 months it doesn’t even let me open stories before crashing.
Lastly, the ads at the beginning of starting the app are ridiculous. The 1.5 minute long cartoon game ads are infuriating. I’ll close the app and not even use it if I have to sit through that junk. Local advertising is one thing, but internet junk sales is lame.

News tab no longer works
When you open the news tab a ad loads. I understand the need for advertising. But there is no way to close the ad and even worse no news stories will load. Bottom line when you open the news tab you get a ad but nothing else. I depend on this app for my news. Come on guys get this fixed!!!!! I will revise my review when you do.Show lessPoppabear255
Too many ads
So now the ads won’t delete and I can’t read the news. I clicked to opt out and then there are more instructions to follow. I will just delete this app that’s easier.Queenie1956
Pop ads on local news???
Every time I launch the app have to wait 5 minutes for the stupid game ads to finish. Done with this app gonna try my other local news appCatgirl7890
Notifications
It would be nice if the notifications included the city of said news. Breaking news in Tennessee is not something I would immediately look at because it would not impact me, my family, or my friends. Or if there was a way I could get breaking news for McLennan County only.Cutie80
Coverage and reporting
Your coverage and reporting has gone downhill in recent years. I have tried to hang on but when you lead off with a kitten story when there are much more important stories to lead with , I give up turning to channel 25. You lost a long time follower . Tone’ Mahongoneto25
App crashes and ads
This app crashes more frequently than any other application installed on any of my devices. Once I receive a notification, and I open the app to see the article(s), it may crash initially and it will crash repeatedly as I scroll through the pages. It also crashes when I delete a single notification, but not when I clear notifications.
Also, advertisements fill the center of the screen, blocking text from view.
It is still an asset to me, although it doesn’t perform or function adequately.Show lessJedMavrik
