  • From a Luxor Addict!

I have been playing the original Luxor for over 5 years now and still never tire of the game. From my PC to my MacBook to my console to iPad, it just rocks all the way around! When I downloaded the original Luxor for my iPad I squealed like the girl I am to see that there was a new Luxor. I'm only a third of the way through Amun Rising, but I give it five stars, along with the original. A must have game for anyone who enjoys exploding rolling colored balls and action games mixed with some strategy. Luxor will always be my favorite game to wind down to or compete against with my friends. (I so murder my husband at this game) keep up the good work, guys!

BTW, absolutely love the new update that makes the fireball power up stronger. That was my only complaint until now. Also love the scorpion power up. Something new to me.
  • Fantastic!!

I use to play the Wii version of Luxor. This latest version is getting closer to the Wii game. The addition of scorpion was a great addition. Now just add "Sorting" and "Sandstorm" power ups and you have the perfect game for the iPad. This keeps my heart pounding and skills sharp. I look forward to future versions!
  • Luxor: Amun Rising

I have played Luxor for quite sometime now. When I found the Amun Rising version I was stoked. Way better graphics with much more options. This game is just as addicting as the other version. This game is fun and you should take full advantage of it right now!  Go buy it. 
  • Excellent follow up

The original is still one my favs of the genre and this second installment improves on the look and feel of the original. Some issues like removing the next ball icon and the tap to change ball mechanism need some work but overall it's a solid game.
  • Fix it, please

This game will be great once you fix the tap control for swapping out the balls in the shooter. Also, the icon showing the color of the next ball is positioned on the shooter itself - a rather serious design flaw, given that that is the one place on the screen that one will consistently be unable to see while playing. Love the game, love the graphics, please fix it so it is playable.
  • App will not work on iPad 2

This is the first time I bought an app and it will not work. It's currently frozen on the sign in screen......??? I am giving 1 star until I can actually see it working properly. Changed rating app is now working after update to 4.3.2 .....And you will be successful with signing in If you use Game Center as a sign in first......
  • You Ruined A Great Game

Improving a great game could have made it a classic. But instead the marbles have shrunk and the controlls are horrible. Because the controlls were designed so poorly, you cannot get into the speed of the game that would give you more advantages. It is like the controlls were made bad so you can only play at one speed, slow. You got the right idea with a really bad playing field. If you have to wear glasses for reading or seeing close up, do not buy this game or your vision will get worse. The colors of the marbles are too small which inturn slows the game play more. I should have never deleted Stoneloops. If you want to play a well desined margle game, play Sparkle.
  • Incredible

I've played all of the Luxor-style games since the original Luxor on PC, and this is definitely one of the best I've played! The graphics are amazing and the gameplay is smooth. I'm not sure what people are complaining about in regards to controls, since there are all of the different control options to choose from in the Options->Control menu and the game plays smoothly on both my iPad and my iPhone 3GS. As for the people complaining about price dropping. Are you serious? Are you people really this cheap that you will complain about someone discounting a product MORE just because you bought it before the sale? Are you the same people that complain about a T.V. that drops in price by $50 the next day? Get real! This is a great product even at $5, and you got to play it a day earlier!

Also, you if you delete a game you have bought, you DON'T have to repurchase it, it says that you already bought it and then just downloads it.
  • A Beaut!

Typical Luxor game-play, with great music, sound & visuals. Play mechanics are easy -- interface, menu etc.. very stylish. I'm reading some of these reviews and scratching my head -- one person claims the control was bad, the other said it was too small? These people need glasses or an ounce of hand eye coordination; it's full screen, and the game's control is totally easy and intuitive. I do have to say though - the original price was just stupid; glad I got it on sale -- super well worth it.
  • Not really worth 99cents

Shady tactics by this shady dev. Bought it just a day ago as it went on sale from 4.99 to 2.99. Only to wake up next day and see it drop to 99cents. Now I generally dont mind these sales. You win some and you lose some. Its part of the appstore deal now. But what disappointed me was the fact that its not even worth 99cents let alone 3 bucks. Crashes on iPad with OS 4.3.1 every 5 to 10 minutes (yes, I already tried rebooting the iPad, re-installling the app). Please fix the bug asap.

iPhone owners buy it with caution too. It seems like they designed it for iPad and then just shrunk it for iPhone. Still playable but not really much fun.
