Classic game
Like doom, old school. Grainy graphics though.

Plays Great on iPhone, Too!
It's the Marathon 2 that I loved as a kid. Even though the advertising all touts it as an iPad app, the controls scale perfectly well for the smaller screen of the iPhone. The ammo display is microscopic, and I'll admit I can't quite run and gun as fast as I could in "Total Carnage" mode on the Mac back in the 90's, but it works, and the nostalgia just keeps rushing over me. Anyway, you can always video mirror it to a monitor or TV, and suddenly the control sizes are a non-issue. I would love to try this on the iPad, which I feel would be a perfect size.

Anyway, it's free, and I can't argue with that. I agree with one of the other reviewers: it would be useful to turn off the auto-center looking. I'm looking forward to the logical future release of Infinity!

Overall decent port
Some weird proportion issues with HD mode, front and side don't match as well as they do on PC, the front looks weirdly stretched horizontally on iPad

Unplayable
I have yet to beat the first level thanks to constant crashing. I even bought the enhanced textures. :-(

Still has look centering problem with no option to disable it. Completely unplayable because of this.
