Price History of Astrolabe Clock

Description of Astrolabe Clock

Astrolabe Clock is an astronomical clock inspired by the astrolabe, an ancient astronomical instrument used to tell time and to predict the location of the Sun, stars and planets. This modern interpretation gives a view of the sky showing at a glance the time of day, day of year, and the location in the sky of the Sun, Moon, planets and stars. Astrolabe Clock also gives the time of sunrise and sunset, the phase of the Moon, transit times for the Sun, Moon, planets and stars, and can be used to show the occurrence of solar and lunar eclipses.

Reviews of Astrolabe Clock

  • Perfect clock visual

Love how app shows solar & lunar positions & elevations correctly. The perfect fix to adjust to the idiotic standard-savings timeΔ.
Please add alarms & or ability for postings.
  • Slow under newer iOS versions

I love this app and have used it for many years, it was my first astronomy app on this iPad. Unfortunately, since iOS 13 it’s gotten much slower and laggy, hopefully the developers can update it.
  • Fascinating

What a delightful little gateway to astronomy and geometry. I find it just all kinds of fun to poke around to different times and places, maybe I’m weird. This is the only app on my phone that is both truly free and that I open regularly.
