Planimeter is a must have.
I give it a solid 8/10.
As a full time Agricultural Pilot I find this App near perfect!
So many time I'v flown into a farm looking at the paddocks I will be spraying (or fertilise) and thinking to my self, Old farmer Joe has to be kidding me if he thinks that paddock is only 50 hectares? And so under his watchful eye, I run around the paddock with Planimeter and it confirms the paddock is 58.5 hectares? (In a 2D picture) So then old mate has a choice to make?
I'm loving this App and it's newer features?
I like the fact I can now have multiple paddocks marked out on the one page? I then can allocate different colours for different mixes for that client.
I like how I can have multiple pages, and can name each one so each of our clients get their own map and it makes it easier to come back to every 10-14 days to do it all again and share with other people.
Down Side...
I would like to be able to put my maps in their own folders for each of our seasons work. So I can open a folder and view all my clients maps? State, type of work, clients.
Folder A, has South Australia's 50 Potato/Carrot clients maps.
Folder B, has Victoria's 50 Potato clients maps.
Folder C, has Forestry paddocks done in NSW. Etc Etc.
I would also like to be able to send each map to the printer and it print off the view I send.

I have used Planimeter ever since MyMeasure messed up their app. With the new update Planimeter has taken the usability to a whole new level! With the ability to now have multiple structures, shapes, and colors it has so many new capabilities.Jacking1234

I never rate apps, but..
This app is so useful. A lot of time I will use it to measure random buildings and fields so that I have a good idea of scale. However it is a lifesaver when planning out a property for landscaping. Love all of the new improvements in the last update.Snazzy_scott
The update is bad
They have deleted the undo function. If you place a dot in the wrong location you must start all over again. Looking into another appEckwitte

Hello. We released an update to address these concerns. Planimeter 4.1 restores a dedicated delete button that can be used to delete the last added pins of an area you are currently measuring, a different selected area (if any), or everything on the map. It also includes toggles to turn on/off the preview distances and other items. If you don’t have automatic updates turned on, please find the update in the Updates tab of the App Store. Hello. I'm using the recent ability for developers to reply to comments. Maps are updated by the satellite image providers on their servers. You may try switching between the map image sources to see which is best for a specific area by tapping the half-moon button located at the bottom right of the map view.
