Simply the best pinball game for the iPad to date
I bought this pinball game based on reviews of the original Pinball HD app. I was in for a treat!
The graphics, sounds, ball physics are on par with my favorite realistic PC pinball "Pro Pinball: The Web". The collaboration with MGM has resulted in very appropriate and clean sounds and voices taken from the 3 war-themed movies. The clever use of the accelerometer to shift the viewing angle of the tables never ceases to amaze, and the table designs are very different and motivate you to "explore" them in order to reach higher scores and ranks.
The newest update took care of the few ball-getting-stuck issues along with the anticipated addition of game center leaderboards and achievements. My only personal irritation was the occasional screen glitch which would last for about a second. It wouldn't happen often but it's hopefully fixed already with the latest update.
This game also comes with a stereoscopic 3D mode, which I have yet to try out.
This review is by no means an exhaustive description of all of War Pinball HD's features. There is plenty of options and details to discover that you'll be amazed at the progamming and game design skills of these talented individuals.
In my opinion, this is currently the best pinball game for the iPad.

Good game ... But
The ball gets stuck too many times on all three games. Just had to dump a 10 million score because of stuck ball. Too stressful for me.Can't pick a nickname

Good game
I found this most enjoyable, only trouble is on the platoon table there's a fault where one of the spinning things on the left side of table get stuck in a certain position where the ball gets stuck to the point when even shifting the table doesn't even shift it and the only way to get it working again is a fresh restart of the program, just as well there's 3 tables, still good fun.Show lessMack5170
Quite dissapointed
I've purchased this application on an iPad 2 and the graphics are tremendous, I must however state the fact this pinball game keeps sticking its disappointing.
I usually play 'Missing in Action' just by choice and whilst the gameplay is good the ball keeps getting stuck in between the gun turret contraption and a wall.
Leaving me having to restart over everytime, this has happened on more than several occasions so the ability to nudge the table would be a welcomed addition perhaps in the form of shaking the device?
In the meantime i shall be seeking a refund as this game is now usless without any ball movement am I right?Show lessBenf2489

Outstanding work Gamepron. I read the reviews and decided to buy this. I was sceptical at first about pinball on my iPad and how good it could be. This was a fruitless attitude, as it turns out, because this game is fantastic!!!!!
You don't need to be a fan of any other game. Just get it because you love to play pinball. Even rock-dwellers who have never touched a pinball game in their life - prepare for an awesome education.Show lessQuantumarq
A double dose of Tiger Blood…..AND Chuck Norris approved!!
For all of you warlock assassins out there, this is a truly an awesome pinball experience! Each table has tons of movie dialogue and sounds effects which really brings home the feel of all those movie themed pins you are used to playing in the bar or arcade. You can almost hear Chuck Norris’ stretch denim under the machine gun fire! It plays great on my iPad 1, so I’m sure it’s even better on the iPad 2. The graphics actually look about 5x better than the screen shots. High quality.
My one minor complaint is the cussing on the Navy Seals table. When the ball drains you hear Charlie Sheen say, “Ohhhhhhh SH@#!” Believe me, I’m no prude, but it adds nothing to the game and now I have to be careful when little ears are around. I could have done without this. My $.02.
