It’s changed for sure

It’s been a while since I used the app and I really liked it. Changing backgrounds and colors. Now it’s hard to figure out how to use it. Maybe working on it more it may be more fun to use but at this point I am disappointed…….

Even better!

Wow! I have to say that I’m VERY impressed with the latest update!
The developer not only has a great app but he obviously worked very hard to make Flowpaper even more amazing!
I’m VERY glad that I paid for the full version!

Hi CherryBlossomGreenTeaTwo, Thank you for your feedback! Glad to hear that your enjoying the new color picker but sorry to hear you can't close it! At the moment the color picker appears as a drawer on iPhone that can be closed by swiping down on the top bar and on iPad it's a modal that disappears when you tap outside of it. But it sounds like the device your on may be a slightly different resolution from our test devices (maybe a iPhone SE?) We'll look into improving this on our next update. New colour picker

While I really love the newest feature, the colour picker, there’s a little issue with it that I really don’t like. The fact that I can’t get out of that window unless I turn my device on it’s side as there’s no X to tap on to close that window at least that I can see because the window itself is ever so slightly oversized. Therefore if there is an X to tap on to get that window to close I can’t see it. To the developer your app is really good and I enjoy it but please fix this issue. Thank you.

I have used this program for years and love it.

This is not a normal art package. If you look at the program icon you can see the kind of lines it’s possible to play with. It has recently been updated so that you can use it for playing in other unique ways.
I use it nearly every week for adding to my artwork.

Admittedly, I was wary about the recent update, but I absolutely love the new layout and brushes. I’ll likely end up buying the lifetime premium option soon.

Update completely ruins it

I rarely comment on apps but this was one of my favourite creative tools for subtle effects on photographs. The new update makes it nothing but a toy. The background now can’t be resized, the drawing modes are just low res gimmicks, particularly for fine mesh drawing which has lost most of the control. Half baked UI., where are the fine colour controls. Completely unusable and disposable. Please reinstate the last version.

Hi MonoModal, Thank you for your constructive review! We're sorry to hear that the new version of Flowpaper is not meeting your needs! We've recently re-written the app from scratch for compatibility with new devices and to introduce some new ways of drawing with ink brushes etc that many users are enjoying. Although we're not planning on reinstating the previous version we will be updating this one to re-introduce many of the features that as you have commented have changed or are missing. Our sincere hope is that these updates will help make Flowpaper one of your favorite tools again! Another wonderful creative art app.

I've had this app for years, and I've just updated to the latest version and it's like a new app. Still getting used to the interface, but its minimal clean approach certainly does not get in the way of the art.

Seeing other artists use of this app inspires me. This is the closest thing to actually playing with imagination. With my new iPad Pro 13", this app creates the most delicate lines and, with patience it is possible to come out with some truly amazing images.

Originally, I had mucho fun after purchasing the continuous mode iAP, which opened up a whole new brush to mess around with. The new brushes are bringing new perspective to the art that can be created.
