Berkshire Eagle e edition
Read first thing every morning. There is such a great distance between locally owned newspapers and huge distanced ownership of local news by a lager cooperate. This app is smartly configured. The font helpful and so meaningful for its readers.
Great content.
But very poorly organized and hard to access. Still read it daily
Beats killing trees!
I love having my newspaper on my phone. Got a few minutes waiting for an appointment? No problem. Format is good, and easy to use. No need for recycling!
Great app with minimal ad intrusion
I subscribe to periodically read the news from the Berkshires. What I like is that the UI is pretty clean. Few ads. I would enjoy it more of my login and password would read automatically from iOS .
App works well
The App works well but is difficult to recognize since the log changed
Getting better
Youβve come a long way, baby. ππ
Berkshire Eagle the Best
Every morning , homebound in Miami, I read the BE first. Access is easier than my other 3 newspapers and the presentation throughout each edition is informative and reassuring, from local news to state and worldwide and opinion columns. Thank you thank you thank you.
Not as good as paper, but....
I adjusted much more easily to the e-edition than I expected. My ease is due to its extremely well done format, making it so simple to use.
I still enjoy the paper edition, 5 days a week, with my cup of coffee, but I have stopped dreading Mondays, with only the e-edition.
And Sunday mornings are just not the same without a Sunday paper. I have recently begun purchasing a Boston Globe for my Sunday reading. Even an E-edition of the Eagle would be good. Relaxed Sundays without a newspaper just do not seem right! :-)
And one more note...my Dad, an avid reader, is in the nursing home. He has a subscription to the Eagle and dearly misses his Sunday and Monday paper. He is often confused and does not understand what happened to his paper. Dad is unable to learn the skills needed to maneuver the e-edition. I feel badly for him.
I know that technology is taking over. I know that we all need to adjust. I do take comfort from the knowledge that the e-edition of the Eagle is top notch!
