The Globe and mail puzzles are the best.. exactly what I have been looking for..as they are fun and a perfect challenge..there are no other puzzles out there like these..and I like that the set up is very user-friendly !! WOW really beautiful and I’m learning a lot!!!!
What a RELIEF!
…to read such a well crafted newspaper these days! This is so much more the way newspapers were when I was growing up - a balanced and meaningful variety of articles relevant to the times we’re living in.
I still subscribe to the big two here in the states (WAPO & The NYT) but over the past decade they’ve morphed into a couple of 24-7 Trump news channels. (AllTrumpAllTheTime? Please, no)

Option to Choose Reading Fonts
Everything about the content is what makes Globe and Mail so powerful & persuasive.
It would be great to have the option of choosing from a variety of reading fonts.

Sketchy business practice relating to cancellation
My review is based on the company’s business practice of requiring you to phone them to cancel your subscription. It’s 2023, and this is a digital service. Making it hard to cancel a service is not something quality companies do.

Bad Experience
Not being able to cancel a subscription from your online account should be illegal. Completely inconvenient to have to call them and have someone make a couple of computer clicks to do it for me. They somehow combined mine and my fathers account when I had previously cancelled and was billed for several months after cancelling. Bad experience all around. Maybe it’s fine for others. I don’t recommend this to anyone. Horrible horrible horrible

Glitchy, and cannot read/leave comments…
Love the Globe and Mail but the app could use some work. Every time I try to read or add to the comments, it simply says “unauthorized”.
Buggy
I’ve had this app for several years now, and I am getting tired of clicking on a story, reading it, and then when I “x” out of it, I am taken to a group of stories way down in the app. I then have to go back to the top and fast-scroll down to the story immediately following the one I read. Quite often get tired of repeating this process, consequently I give up and exit the app without reading all the stories

Made a money making service. Not worth it.
Basic news should be free. It is right for any citizen to know without paying for subscription. If they can’t provide free news about country or province then they should move app into in app purchase category. As it is not free anymore. So people would know before they download this app.
Subscription terminated for no reason
I'm a subscriber and it's paid for and still I've been turned off. Not good.
