Outstanding!
This is an incredible app with so many uses. Sure you can mess around and play - there are dozens of options and variables to choose from, making whatever sound you sampled sound exactly as you like. Or if you want a more pro music experience it's ridiculously easy to plug into your midi keyboard (using apple camera kit) and play with on there, record from or even use live as I do! The presets and samples I have on here now sound better than on my original keyboard so I not only use this to create and edit sounds but also to output them. It does everything! What a bargain! And if you're a DT fan like me Jordan has put in a few familiar voices ;) can't recommend enough.Show lessJacob Hawk
Issues with 4 finger touch function....
I updated my iPad recently and now I am unable to play more than 3 fingers due to the four finger touch function... This is more a question than a review. How, if there is a way can I disable or lock this function while I'm using music related apps? Best app ever though I wish they had a 7 star option... Thanx in advanceShow lessLuaron

I bought MorphWiz awhile ago, and now this one trumps it! Both are brilliant! Awesome interface, exciting sound texture, anyone dissing this app doesn't know what they're talking about. I have been producing electronic music for 16 years, spent a fortune on pro gear over the years, this app is a fine example of the quality level that is possible on the iPhone platform. $10 well spent! Awesome appilcation with one flaw!
This is a awesome application except for one flaw the application does not shut down when you push the close button you have to reset you ipod to shut it off. A off button would be nice. Other than that it is a great application it does what it supposed to do and the rest is up to your imagination.Simple as cyanide

This app is the most musical I have yet seen on an apple product - immediately gratifying editing for whatever sound you feel like capturing - I reckon this will become an essential tool for original writing/composing and producers who want to put a stamp on their work - blown away and so easy to use - which means less geeking and more creativity! Great patch creation for Geo!
i have been playing SampleWiz for a long time in testing. the combination of low latency, finger bending, good synthesis options, and running on ios makes this truly useful in the real world! Now it is also useful as a patch creator for Geo as well, as they were designed to work together.RobFielding
Ugh.
Wish I could get my money back on this. Another reviewer put this in the same class as animoog. Not even close. Animoog is an instrument. This app seems pretty useless. Lack of included quality samples prevents it from inspiring cool stuff. And the sampling time is too short to even make it a useful sound editor. Save your money and pick up animoog and loopy. Those are a couple apps you can have a lot of fun with.
If you can actually play instruments, you may find this a let down as I did. If this were a free app, I would have played with it for 5 minutes and deleted it.Show lessDufjrjfmf
It keeps crashing
It's a cool app but frustrating because it keeps crashing (seems to happen mostly after trimming a sample). Otherwise a 5 star.PaulyRiddums

I have been in music industry for 30 years. I find myself using this more than my hardware samplers. Definitely awesome for on the go ideas and high enough quality to be used professionally. I've even used it for foley in movie editingsgranlund
