Good tool

I bought this awhile back we not bought but downloaded shortly after its release I love it it's a great way to pass time and improve drafting skills the new sets are a lil spendy for pics and descriptions but they need to make a lil money too I like it I have told friends about it I do recommend it

Also I don't have iOS 5 so take down the requirement of it please

Has potential to be best magic app ever

This app is good for practicing drafting cards, not playing the deck you drafted. The grade and write ups are interesting, although M14 doesn't have a write up yet the grades seem fair so far. It is weird after you purchase a set and it tries to fetch images because it takes a while and makes your iPhone kind of flash on the top toolbar area. If the bugs were worked out and more functions and features added, this could be the best magic app ever and a 5 star app. Great potential and pretty good education on drafting. Buying additional sets do cost almost as much as buying a pack of cards so there's that.

Falling behind...

This is a great little app for practicing your drafting skills. You shouldn't expect to play your deck against an opponent afterwards, but you can expect to have an efficient app to improve your drafting skills at your own pace. The pro tips written for each card along with the ratings and suggested picks have significantly improved my understanding of what cards work best in this format and how to plan my deck accordingly.

With that said, BE WARNED: this 1 star review Is due to the app's failure to maintain its integrity. The last two sets added to the in-app purchases (MM and M14) were sold at full price but with poor scans and without write-ups. For an app like this, I don't mind paying a few dollars per set for the pro tips, but 2.99 is way overpriced for just adding some art work to the mix. I will not be buying any more sets from this app until the ones I've purchased are updated to what I actually paid for.

Nothing else like it

Finally with iPhone 5 full screen support!

This is the perfect app to test and improve your draft technique while also learning which cards are good in Limited and why.

Awesome.

I love this draft simulator. I tell people about it all the time. When a new set is spoiled just before pre-release weekend, I anxiously check my Decked Drafter database for updates. It's way worth the cost of one pack of cards to me to add a new set to the app, especially now that Decked has been adding the cards immediately after release instead if waiting for the write-ups to be finished. Don't get me wrong, the write-ups are a great resource of tips from guys like Marlon Egolf & Darwin Kastle who know their stuff, but having the cards sooner now is even better. Keep up the great work!

Nice overall app

Not a bad draft app, good ui and interface - a few limitations

- RSS feeds are broken
- Card pricing is based on paper, not mtgo

Thanks

Great app and free :D

Good Practice

While its a bit of a bummer that you have to pay for each set as it comes out, the cost isn't that much - if you play a lot of magic. I've found this tool to be good for honing my drafting strategies and habits, and it's lead me to winning more than I think I would have otherwise (which leads to more prizes of course)

The interface is simple - somewhat reminiscent of Apprentice - but works well on the iPad.

Follow through please

I'm newer to Magic so I bought this app with the hope of explanations as to why certain cards were better in drafts. Gatecrash is yet to be updated and it has been released for over three weeks now. Please update and get that info out!

Great app!

I love this app for drafting on the go! They've had the last two sets (M13 and Return to Ravnica) up soon after official spoilers were done and in time for the prerelease! They didn't have the rating descriptions up yet but good players won't need those anyways lol
