  • Not very useable

Looks great but not being able to zoom in on the maps makes it unusable. Lots of the features never worked for me during Irene. I'll hold out for the update though.
  • Not bad

Crashes during Projected Paths. But the rest works pretty good. Can't see above the Carolinas though. Don't know what's up with that.
  • Has potential but falls short

Old data plus crashing app equals good idea but poorly executed. Yes it's free but if u cant use it then what's the point. I gave 2 stars because it appears to be nice app if the fix crashes and keep the radar up to date.
  • Good app

Takes to long to load and doesn't come clear but it's actually pretty easy
  • Hurricane track For iOS

I had high hopes for this app, but as of now it is pretty much useless. No text in the advisories, slow loading, and ... Believe it or not, with Irene bearing down on the east coast...NO tracking! At least 1/2 the features do not work on my ipad2. I am removing and going with the old reliable "hurricane"! The 2 stars is for the radar which is very good after it loads.

  • Good thing it's free, it crashes and slow loading

For a free app it's good, but on the Projected Path when I hit the arrows at the top, which I assume is to switch between the current storms, it crashes. Now I can go the Storm Info area and look at other storms but only the current ones. It would nice to be able to look at at least the storms for this year but even better to see the archives and see the older storms like you can at NOAA's website where it's pull the info and images from anyway.
Also it takes a long time to load.

  • What I was looking for

Yes it loads slow but it shows alot. Most realistic satellite shots I have seen for the iPhone. It is like watching it on the tv
  • No problems

    Worked fine, colorful radar images.
  • Decent App

Does what it says. Nice. Hasn't crashed or run slow, for me, yet. Could be much better if you make an ad-free version and add an option to hide the menu bars to enlarge the maps to better take advantage of the iPhone screen space. Right now, too much screen space is just wasted.
  • Great visuals

No problems encountered on my iPad. Love all the different animated radar/spectrum maps of the Atlantic. A valuable tool for hurricane tracking.
