    Love this app - easy to use, everything works.
  • Great app with top-notch customer service!

    Purchased the premium version to use with my new Samsung TV. Works well and has lots of features. Since they didn’t have my specific remote, I emailed them to ask about creating a macro for the Sleep button. Martijn, the developer, replied in just over 12 hours with a detailed and super helpful response. He took the time to carefully explain what I was likely doing wrong and how to fix it. He also let me know they will be adding my specific remote in a future release. Very, very impressed. Thanks for going above and beyond to help a new user!

  • What's not to like?

    My phone is always close by so this app makes it a near perfect way to replace the out of reach original remote.
    Occasionally the app remote doesn't find my TV on the first try but I'm not sure if it's a network issue or TV issue as I've found all three of our Samsung smart TVs to be sub par. (Seriously if you are in the market for a smart TV avoid Samsung)
    The app remote does everything the original does except turn the TV on. The biggest bonus of having this app on my phone is when my wife is fumbling thru trying to find something with the original remote and I can simply take over without saying "here... Give me the remote"

    Thank you for review. myTifi can switch TVs on that support this feature. These are the K-Series (model year 2016) and higher. We are working on a big update, that improves the use of multiple TVs and increases the connection stability. So please be patient, version 8 will be available in the next weeks...
  • A remote that actually works

    I am delighted to tell you that this app works perfectly. It connects to my TV through my WiFi every time without fail. The response from my Samsung television seems to be as quick as it is when using the original remote. Just Great.
  • GOOD REMOTE!!

    So far the remote is the best I’ve used to date. It is really good and without knocking it one bit. it could even be great. Functionality is good. Quick channel is good. Be nice if it worked with apple TV but oh well. Doesn’t control the cursor while in browser. Takes the long way to input browser info when working in safari or google. Has quick keys to channels but not to locals like You Tube, Netflix and so on. Even tho I noted herein where it could be better, don’t misunderstand it’s a really good remote… just could be great!!

  • Amazing app, use it daily!

    Fantastic app, really has made life easier. With two kids under 3, they are constantly nicking the remote! Now we can use the TV despite the traditional remote being hidden under the sofa!

    Excellent support as well. Good stuff 5 stars.
  • Amazing app that works better than any other one I’ve tried

    Other apps I’ve used couldn’t turn my Samsung TV on when it was powered off. Prior to this app I was using Remotie 2 but after buying an iPhone X that app was unusable. After trying this one I wish I’d switched sooner since it turns on my TV without issue.
  • Stopped Working

    After years of great reliable service, the app will no longer connect to my Samsung TV.

    Nothing changed on my home network and I verified that the TV is connected. The app simply will not recognize the TV.

    It’s a shame, since I loved this app and use it all the time.

    Hopefully this will be resolved soon!!

    Update:

    Just as sudden as the inability to connect, it is now working as advertised.
    Not sure how or why, but I’m not complaining. I have my remote app back!!

    Stopped working again.
    Just verified all is well with my WiFi network,, TV & iPhone connected,,
    Unable to locate TV

    Update #3:

    Figured it out, sort of.
    Not an issue with the app (sorry MyTiFi)
    My Samsung not-so-smart TV just drops the internet connection, for whatever reason. Shows: connected to the network, but not the internet.
    Monkeyed around with the DNS settings,,
    No change.

    After resetting TV, seems to work,, again.
    Not sure why but at least I know how to fix it in the future.

    Anyway,
    Back in business!!!!

  • Great app - both for iPhone and Watch

    Been using this for a year or so now - it’s great, especially when the kids have lost the remote!

    Recently changed phones and lost the app after re-pairing my watch... contacted the devs who got straight back in touch and resolved the problem quickly. All sorted!

    Worth every penny - thanks devs :)

  • Comprehensive features and easy to use

    This app is exactly what I was looking for control of my Samsung TV. It was easy to set up and has a lot of features I am discovering with use. I like that I can easily use the basic features immediately and discover the advanced ones as I continue to use the app. I upgraded to premium and glad I did.
