This is by far the best available remote for the Samsung Smart TV. This is the only remote that comes with a tremendous wealth of knowledge in manual form that ensures you get something that works!! I've tried all the Samsung remote apps and this is by far the best. The smart remote feature is excellent if you are using over the air TV. The navigation feature makes using the web browser great to use. The only improvement I can see is the ability to add macros to buttons on the remote. If you could rearrange the buttons on the remote for a custom layout that would be cool too.Show lessRljpad
This app works great during free trial had no issues until it asked me to pay
I didn’t know there was a free trial period for this app, it worked great after we lost our remote to our 55 inch tv. No issues until free trial period was over. I definitely will order this app when I can.ccranedj67
Great App, but please change the App name!
Very useful app, best remote app I tried. It just works... except that the name “myTiFi” is a horrible name - I can never remember it, and when searching for the word "remote" the App don't show up.... so it always takes me for ages to find it. Great TV Remote App
I’ve been very satisfied with this app. The setup was straightforward and easy. I upgraded to the premium option because I have two young kids who lose the actual remote quite frequently so it’s great to easily be able to turn on the TV from my phone.

Phone app is great watch app UPDATED
Well I hadn’t used the Apple Watch app since I originally got the app. But now I see it has been updated for Apple Watch and does allow you to turn tv off and on from watch. Even better, I was originally happy with remote use from phone but now that I can use my watch that’s an added bonus. I’ve had no issues or other complaints. Perfect in my book. Thanks for the response and update. Works perfect.
Really handy works perfect from phone. Does all I need and more, I was happy to pay for it. It’s a perfect price that definitely cheaper than purchasing another remote from in store. I do however wish that I could turn my tv off and on from my Apple Watch. It is laziness talking but if that was added it’d be that much better. Overall I’m happy. Thanks for your review. It's definitely possible to turn off your TV via Apple Watch. And even switch it on, if you have a Samsung K-Series TV form model year 2016 or newer. Both can be done via the TV Manager, which is the 4th screen: Tap the connected TV to switch it off. When myTifi detects a TV that can be switched on, it's shown with a red standby icon. My boyfriend and I recent got a new smart Samsung TV and we immediately lost the remote and were just navigating with the knob on the back (really complicated btw) and this app literally saved our lives!! Only $2.99 to turn on and off, (or you can leave your tv on at all times [with a screensaver] and just use the free version~~) even the cheapest universal remotes at the store are still like $6, AND you can still lose them again!

Samsung tv remote and so much more....
This is by far one of the best apps I have come across for replacing my Samsung tv remote. The original remote that came with tv is very hard to use. Unlike most tv remotes... the channels are located toward the bottom, the layout takes some time getting used to, and you can not see it in the dark. With the MyTifi remote, this eliminates the hassle of these issues. I also love the feature of the mousepad when using the internet through tv. It makes it so much more easier to use. It even brings up a keyboard to type in for searching, which saves so much time. Way better than the one letter at a time, that is normally entered with a regular remote. And if you are an Apple Watch owner, it gets even better, as you can control every function from the wrist. The layout for Watch is very well laid out and simple to use. Love controlling the channels, volume, searching, etc from the watch. There are so many features and choices for this app that you can not go wrong with it. For the $2.99 I paid, you can not beat its price, function, and usefulness. Not to mention... you could not go buy a new remote for that price. Loved it until the most recent update.
I only have one TV I use this remote for. I understand the new update is supposed to make multi TV control easier but it’s ridiculous I now have to select “automatically connect to last TV” and then select my TV every single time I want to use this remote. I want it back to when I opened the remote and could just use it. Not have to fix a bunch of settings every single time that don’t save anyway.Show lessAsiaisacontinent
Great app with top-notch customer service!
Purchased the premium version to use with my new Samsung TV. Works well and has lots of features. Since they didn’t have my specific remote, I emailed them to ask about creating a macro for the Sleep button. Martijn, the developer, replied in just over 12 hours with a detailed and super helpful response. He took the time to carefully explain what I was likely doing wrong and how to fix it.
