We have recently lost our TV remote, and after looking for it for 2 days, we decided to look for an app. We only have the limited version and it provides us with everything you need. We tried many apps before this and we settled on this one as it was the best quality.Bellaveen

Ipad keyboard not available for All4 app
When I was required to sign in to Channel 4 (now called All4), the keyboard was not available on my ipad for entering this. I tried to get round this by attempting to mirror channel 4 from my ipad but a message displayed announcing that this was not possible and the samsung tv, 8500 series, turned off!
The tv turned off with every attempt. Using the tv’s own keyboard is a complete pain. Can this app be made to work with any app on the samsung so that whenever text has to be entered that it will be possible via the ipad keyboard.Show lessLesley5824510
Wi-fi remote
Works very well and is so much more convenient than reaching for a couple of different remotes every time I want to mute the tv. Took a bit of fiddling to get it working. Unfortunately I couldn’t get it to switch the sound bar back on once it is switched off. If it did it would be pretty much perfect for my needs.Show lessDirk Genty
Worth the move - don’t bother buying another remote
After my pups wrecked two remotes I gave up and found this app. I still miss a actual remote but after at least two years I won’t be buying one again. It’s a excellent app and works perfectly with smart tv etc.stormjaneway
Hit Or Miss
App has tons of trouble finding my tv through my network connection. Since the latest update, it’s been completely impossible. Doesn’t work at all now.
My TV is on and connected VIA WIFI. My phone also on and connected to the same WiFi network. I use this app solely at night to turn off the tv because the remote stays on my wife’s night stand. Proble: I open the app and it doesn’t recognize the tv is on already. And refuses to connect at all.Show lessxionshadowwolf
Fantastic product
I have tried many similar apps before but this is in a different league. Reliable, easy to use and the Smart feature, which allows you to pre-programme all your favourite channels to a single screen touch is a revelation. The Apple Watch related app has more or less the same functionality and how cool is that, controlling your TV from your watch! After sales service is fast, friendly and effective. The initial programming will then work on every Samsung TV you have in the house. Batteries and not finding the remote are things of the past. ^_^Show lessJohnnySheath
