Version 1.6.1 of Loan Calculator fixes an issue with the app incorrectly starting up in Portrait mode. ======================= Version 1.6 of Loan Calculator has a few new features and some fixes: New Features ============= * Extra Costs section has been enhanced. * For 'Mortgage' loans there is now a 'Closing Costs' amount which can be 'Added to Loan' or 'Paid Upfront'. * The Other Costs can now be applied Quarterly or Semi-Annually * You can now add two separate 'Other' costs. * There is a new option in 'Settings -> Amortization' which specifies whether the Extra Costs get split into monthly payments or not. * Some UI enhancements Fixes ====== * Extra Payments for Credit Card loans were not functioning properly * Various fiddles and tunings ------------------------------------------------ If you like Loan Calculator, PLEASE consider rating it. Version 1.4 of Loan Calculator has several new features and a few fixes: New Features ============= * New Variable Rates setting to allow any number of interest rate changes * Backup & Restore via Dropbox * Passcode protection * New 'Down Payment' setting to allow entry of Loan Amount via the Purchase Price and Deposit * New Setting to allow override of the default currency symbol * New Setting to allow decimal data entry (useful for existing loans where you want to enter the exact amount remaining) * New Setting to turn 'Balloon' payments on * New Setting to optionally show the 'Current Date' on the charts * Extra payments are now ordered by 'Frequency' then by 'Date' * The charts now show the amount per 'Period' (rather than 'Year'), using 'Press, Hold and Slide' * For loans which have a 'Start Date', the chart now shows the year name on the x-axis * Improved iOS 5 support Fixes ====== * Extra Payment calculator was faulty * Adding a loan, then cancelling straight away could to a blank record being created * Attempted to fix occasional "'Loan Amount' must be entered" errors on the iPad * Some miscellaneous tinkering and fixing ------------------------------------------------ If you like Loan Calculator, PLEASE consider rating it. It is attached as an image. * A 'Delete' button has been added to the extra payment detail screen. * The amortization table on the iPad has had columns added for 'Capital' and 'Other Costs'. * Loan 'Term' can now be up to 50 years.
