This is a nice and easy to use app. I use it almost daily to plan my walk/run program. It would be very nice and convenient if, as I put markers along my intended route, the total accumulated distance were to be shown at the marker, and if possible, have the app place kilometer posts on the map. The incremental distances between posts is not very useful to me.Show lessBillHelsinki
App Good, Bug Fix bad
What the app does as far as measuring and what we need it to do is fantastic, but every time it is updated it has new bugs and there always has to be a work around to make it work. Our company runs our map files through Dropbox and time and time again it has problems going back and fourth after updates or just working smoothly.Show lessGsfxdavytvcd
Best Course/Track Creator and Log
I have been using Measure Map (standard and pro) for a couple years, to create open water swim courses and long distance swim tracks. From the start, it was the best and most flexible on the market, and they’ve continually improved the app. This most recent update is incredible; a huge Improvement to the user interface, the most important tools are now all available in a completely customizable presentation. They finally removed the 2X button! (insiders know). This is also a fanatic tracker, logging movement through the entire event.Show lesszoo76

Bought this app years ago and loved it. They updated the app and now I have to rebuy the pro features via an in app purchases for six times the original price.
Once I contacted them about the issues they corrected it and gave me the upgrade for free.Grateful_User

I’ve tried all the measuring of a map apps and this is the best by far. Don’t listen to all these Whiney people reviewing about they paid $5 and the developers consolidated the app and now they don’t have access to pro blah blah blah. These people are just too lazy to send an email to the developer to reactivate it. Screw them. This app is the most superior by far measuring app off of satellite imagery by far. I had MeasureMap Pro as free upgrade to MeasureMap now won’t work!!!
I bought MeasureMap a long time ago. Think I paid about $15. Maybe $9.
This past Fall I was offered MeasureMap Pro for about $15. When I went to buy the Pro version I was greeted with message that MeasureMap was consolidated with Pro so Pro was free. I downloaded Pro and used for a while and really liked it.
But after updating to iOS 11.4 this week Pro won’t work. Every time I launch it tries to take me to website and pay $30. What gives??? My old MeasureMap wont even work!

Is this app defective or deceptive?
I bought the 5 dollar version because I only need the app to find square feet of an asphalt paving operation. It worked great for two days. Now, every time I go to set a pin, the app tries to upsell me to the 20 dollar version,, which I dont need. When I click “no” on the pop up and then try to place a pin, the app shuts down. Is this a marketing thing? If so, its terrible. I was recommending this to others now I have to tell them not to download it before they spend their money!
UPDATE
As it turns out there was an update missing that did not link an older version to the consolidated one. I got help from the CEO and Senior Developer of Global DPI, Victor Alonso. The app works great now. I have changed my rating to reflect my satisfaction with the Measure Map Pro app. I used it last night to map out several large areas of the airport where I work. Super easy | Very useful
I have been using this app for a year and a half. With a recent update, I found it unusable. Victor came forward with rapid, courteous and thoughtful responses. I’ll look at his catalog first for any future needs. This is a terrific app for measuring small and large areas. From hundreds of square feet to thousands of square miles. Can “upgrade” to the standard version for $5. Unless, of course, you want the “professional” version (NOT the same as the pro version). That one will cost you $20!
Response To Developer Response: you may have been compelled to consolidate, but HOW you did it was deceptive. There was nothing in the description stating this so we would know before we downloaded, and your reason for leaving the word “Pro” in the name is beyond confusing and quite suspicious. We were compelled by Apple to consolidate the three versions we had: Lite, Regular and Pro in just one app with in-app purchases. We maintain the Pro in the name because it is our flag app and users would not find it in the app Store.
