Watch out for this company!

As others have stated here, this app is the exact same one previously sold by Smart Baby Apps. That app stopped working as the company disappeared and no one ever heard back from their customer service.

Now it has reappeared under a new name, but apparently - contrary to their claims - their customer service is equally nonexistent. I don't care about a wasted 99 cents, but I loathe dishonesty, especially when this fraudulent company targets parents of little children. Talk about bad karma!

I have contacted Apple regarding this company and I hope they will look into the matter.

Great flashcard app for babies & toddlers! Highly recommend!

As some of the reviews have pointed out this app does have some flashcards locked, unless you pay some extra to unlock them. But the large majority of the cards are free, with great images, and the ability to record your own voice for each image. You can even create your own collection using images you have, so I created a fiends and family collection to teach my daughter people's names.
Considering its free the features and quality it offers are great, and I'm not quite sure why someone would give it a bad review just because 2 or 3 of the flashcard cat agonies are locked when there are plenty that come free. Plus it only costs an extra $0.99 to unlock all the cards.
Clearly a lot of work has gone into making this app, I would have paid for it anyway, so expecting to get the entire thing for free and giving a one star review is entirely unreasonable.
I would highly recommend this to anyone with children learning to talk.

Could be good - but flawed

On the surface, this is a great learning up *if used as designed*. The problem is that toddlers never play "by the rules", and the app does not handle any of the edge cases gracefully. In "Find The Object", you can easily break the slide transition by rapidly tapping the screen, for example - which my 2-year old does frequently. In that case the audio cue never plays because the app is busy saying "No, that's not it" for the wrongly clicked item (or "You got it!" because the correct image was tapped accidentally without ever hearing the clue). The program is full of bad user experience cases like that one, making me suspect that it was never tested on the actual target audience. Try the free version first and see how your kid handles it.

Ms

Fantastic learning tool for babies and toddlers.

Really great, but...

I actually love this app for my 20 month old. I added a picture of each family member and their name so she can recognize them. It's just what I was looking for. However, and I had to take two stars off for this, there's no way to lock the screen in to the flash cards. That means that as my toddler wildly taps to get to the next one she exits out half the time. Fix that and I'd be happy to give this 5 stars!

Totally pleased with this app!

I got this app for my 19 month old granddaughter & she absolutely loves...no...LOVES it!! It's so intuitive she can play it all by herself! The options in this app are amazing! We've made quite a few of our own customized flash cards...such fun! It makes my heart happy to see my GD's face light up when she sees familiar pics & hears our voices!! Great app!...don't hesitate to get it!

Great app for oral language development

Love that you can customize this app to suit your family and child's needs and interests. Love the recording so that you can change the voice to your own so that it's not always American.

Simple customizable free!

Great app, simple to use for both parent and child, love that the flash cards can be customized - I deleted junk food items from the food flash cards, and recorded my own Australian voice for the spoken words. That's a really important feature, as many apps do have American voice overs and Aussie kids are starting to develop American accents! I recommend this simple app for anyone wanting to develop word skills with their young child.
