Application Layout
We find the layout poor in comparison to other e-papers we buy. Many papers show you a layout that is similar to the paper print version with each page of each section. For example, the screen splits and on the left showing the print version of the paper and when you select an article on the right side it appears and you can read and scroll the entire article to the end even if it rolls to another page. San Jose Mercury has this type of layout if you want to see it. Please consider an app layout like that as I am sure those apps are generic and can be procured for iPad and other renderings. We enjoy the content but the layout is not up to standard.

Does not work on iPhone
The app appears fine on an iPhone, and breaking news can be read. However, for any article that requires a subscription it appears to be locked and says I need to sign in. Even when I am already signed in! I have reached out to the Spec, However I’ve been informed that their app does not work well on an iPhone, as their site does not work properly on Safari.

Does not work on iPad
Seems to work on iPhone, but not on iPad. Only in portrait mode and is cutoff. The other app in store that says is for iPad, once this update was released, is no longer supported. Very poor. The e paper app works but is hard to read on small screen. P.s. I have since discovered that if you open the app with iPad already in portrait mode, then it is not cut off.

App is terrible
Does not fit the screen. Unable to read a headline.
Also lost the ability to read horizontal or vertical an a tablet.
Fix it. Bring landscape reading back!

Please reinstall landscape mode - I hate it when I'm told how I must use my device

Needs a complete overhaul. Doesn't even open up anymore without crashing.
Garbage!
When the app would open there were too many pop up ads. Now it won't open at all. I can't even justify giving this app 1 star but I can't seem to give a 0 star rating. Get with it Spec! Fix this garbage.
Terrible terrible App
It is worse now than before. Won't even load. I have a subscription but now read the CBC news each day. Their app works well not like the Spec. It is unbelievably bad. I guess they dot read their own reviews or they would have fixed it.
