Waste of time
Very hard to get your photos selected for market on here. I uploaded 50 photos on here and only one (not even one of my best photos) was selected for market (editorial use only as they wanted a property release for an art installation on public property).TaylorQ97
All round great app
This app is something that is more of a dream that reality to be honest, just the thought of making money off the photos you take just sells the app instantly, and although it has its bugs, all apps do and this doesn’t take away the incredibility of the app itselfMarley walks
Final Destination
I’ve been exploring apps & websites to monetize my true passion, taking photos of culinary delights, places, people, my pets @ other stuff that catches my attention!!! I tried several apps that were not so user friendly & no human to contact to get problems resolved. I installed EyeEm and was able to navigate, upload multiple photos with ease, and actually was quite surprised at the progress my photos have made in such a short time (less than 24 hrs). I was notified by another user of the app and given a tip for a possible opportunity. I have but one option, &that
That is to succeed in the professional photography profession!!! Would definitely recommend this app as the go to for others so they can avoid the headaches that I went through trying apps which obviously need MUCH MORE ATTENTION & many problems fixed in order for them to become a functional application!Show lessAjay1217
App has issues…
Been using the app for a few days now and for me, it appears to have a issue where it crashes to the Home Screen when trying to upload multiple images or trying to input the information for a single image when you hit the Done button.
Very frustrating.
Hopefully that gets addressed because it’s a pretty smart app otherwise.
One item on my wish list would be that they actually tell you the reason why an image was not selected for Market so that you could improve your picture selection/taking.
The help link only gives you a guild line for why pictures aren’t chosen and not specifically what’s wrong with yours.Show lessI4dat
Taking advantage of photographers
I’ve uploaded a bunch of photos to EyeEm over the years .. in the beginning they pitched themselves as a platform for photographers to share with each other and eventually sell their work too.. great.. or so it seemed.. one or two of my photos sold for a couple of dollars here and there.. the biggest sale being about 5 dollars.. then I walked into a major retail chain to see that photo being sold on a shirt. At first I was flattered, but the more I’ve thought about it in the intervening hours.. it’s t eta Lou taking advantage at that point, where a huge multinational fast fashion retailer can potentially make huge sums of money from my image that they paid so little for. This system is broken and it is the individual photographers who are worse off for it. It feels like theft.. I wouldn’t have cared if it was on a poster or in an ad.. but actually being turned into a physical product that in turn is sold for money at a huge scale seems wrong.. and downright dishonest.

THIEVES
Eyeem are thieves. My images were removed by my request from EyeEm market. Now 2 years later I find them on Getty images for sale at 475 euros a pop. What have I ever earned? 0.01 cent. And 1.39 usd once. Wow. Now my images are being sold …when I log into my account it is completely empty. JUST WOW and i alrdy wrote this review and it disappeared so not only are they thieves and liars. They also manipulate their reviews. Wow wow wow wow wow. How pathetic must a company be. I use to love it, but hate it now. Shocking.
I thought how great it was at first. I had lots of photos accepted, and even sold a few for a few dollars. But now I’m lucky to get one cent! So I removed all of my photos from marketplace, but have had to email to get the ones from partner removed. Months later, still haven’t heard from them, or had my photos removed! So I tried to delete my account, but it won’t let me! So I have just emailed again asking them to delete it for me, but I’m guessing I still won’t hear from them.
I’d be glad to know the complaints procedure, as I have always kept the rights to my photos.Show lessmazzer g
EyeEm, providing photographers a place to be themselves
What I really like about EyeEm, is not only will it boost my confidence with photography and encourage me to lean into my artistic abilities. From nature, to animals, family, black and white, sepia, and full spectrum colors EyeEm gives those who dabble in photography or those who are just beginning a place to post their photographs and people can give advice or complements, and you can also see the photographs of others and if you like what they did, you can ask about it right then and there. It’s like an art show but without the studio, the tiny food, expensive alcohol and the stuffy atmosphere. App crashes when I try to upload a picture.
It’s really annoying me. I went on a trip to the Philippines and took hundreds of great pictures. I want to upload them but can’t the app keeps crashing when I press, “upload image”. However when I try to upload from my computer to the EyeEm website it’s perfectly fine. Please fix this ASAP, thank you.Show lessskateXitXup

Love it! Love it love it! I won once many many many years ago, with Getty/Eyeem on another account I started and don’t have anymore, I messed up and locked myself out lol!
I’ve made a couple accounts that I am locked out of and need to delete somehow. 👍 No worries though.
They were all so amazing and sent me a celebration email! I don’t usually win anything so it was awesome that they had this opportunity! If you get your license with Eyeem the possibilities are endless!
For someone like me who just wants to share my art, photos and have fun, it’s awesome! I am not making photography my profession, I don’t want to make any money off of the photos. 💝
