Great place for inspiration
I keep going back and discover some really great images, and photographers, that are now amongst my favourites. It is a wealth of inspiration for me, and this is why I love and use it.
I have sold a couple of pictures there too, but you have to keep in mind, that buyers will want to use them commercially, so you have to be selective of what you are uploading, and think of how your images could be used if you want to make some money out of it (meaning: don’t be disappointed if your bathroom selfie or cat pictures won’t make it to the market) However, do not rely on it for a source of income! If you are professional, you better be present on many other agencies and platforms, if you are a hobbyist, you better look at it as a learning source, and use it as help to improve your skills.Show lessLilla&babyboy

Cool concept, but trying to do pretty much anything in the app leads to an "oops! something went wrong" screen.swatchtime
A great photo marketplace
This app is unique due to its social capabilities - being able to see and communicate with other great photographers. The fact that photographers using any equipment ensures the greatest diversity of photography. The icing on the cake - the regular challenges to create images for specific tasks.Sergeinester
The Ultimate Critique Class
Since joining this app I have grown so much as a photographer. My perspective and the way I view my pictures has really changed. Seeing such beautiful and creative photos from all over the world widens my vision. Was working great for me but...
Lasted one day and now is really buggy and won’t let me view/upload anything. Seems broken. Hope it’s fixed soon!maaaaaaagpie
User-Friendly and love the app
OMG! The app is user friendly and I can upload a hoots from photo and my desktop. I don’t have any issues with slow upload time or timeouts. I love to see different photography angles, the depth of field of some photos and the HD. This company by far are the best. I got picked up by Getty Images, awesome!!!Show lessLady Bugz
Fly in the ointment
Eyem is a great service with enthusiastic members worldwide. I've been posting here for years.
The one problem with using Eyem is that it kicks the user out with no warning. This problem has lasted through numerous upgrades.
I'll keep using it--it's easier to use and has a more responsive audience than other similar products--but I wish they would fix this glitch.Show lessSJKaplan
My favourite photo app
I love everything about EyeEm - very well designed & curated. I enjoy the friendly interaction and support between global photographers & love seeing such incredible creativity in one place.
I see reviews with people complaining they’ve not sold images but patience, persistence and understanding what type of images might sell is key. Of course it isn’t easy there are billions of images in stock at Getty, that’s your competition! It took me a long time but I have sold images.
V.few make a fortune (if any) but if you love photography I’m sure you will love the app. Go study the trends. EyeEm do what they can to help you with articles and missions.

Helps you take better pictures
When you see the creativity and quality of photos here, it makes you up your photography game. Truly had me rethink my pictures. I have sold a few and have several chosen for Getty images since being on EyeEm. Even rejected phots help me grow. I would like to see some reasons when not selected for the market. Junk mail
I didn’t really get a chance to use the platform without getting sent a barrage of emails from the company. I turned off every notification setting yet they still came. I don’t mind an introduction email but getting an email every day/ every other day is a massive turn off so to stop them I deleted my account and the app. (Hopefully it works...)Show lesspurplebuggy
